I'm happy with my results & it looks semi Matt, but a breathable, light weight coverage. If you have better skin then me, then this should DEFINITELY work for you! I had to leave a review coming from an average women, who isnt the best at makeup, & has bad skin. I felt all the other reviews were women with gorgeous skin, so it didnt help me much. So here is my honest opinion, hope it helps someone like me.

This is my favorite foundation, The Ivory blends beautifully with my Fake and Bake tone. It applies smoothly, oil free, and is suitable for sensitive skin. Funny story, First out of the gate I dont wear much makeup. I was running late for work and didnt have time to put on foundation and blush. I get to work and several ppl asked if I was feeling under the weather. Others asked if I needed to go home. So apparently this product needs to be in my everyday wardrobe. I highly recommend this product! 10 STARS

I have been coming back to the super balance formula for over 40 years, from oily young skin to older, dryer skin that still has gets spotty eruptions when stressed! This has always worked, never caused irritation and applies easily to sensitive skin. Because it is light it does nothing to hide my new dark sun spots, but gives that fresh natural glow without the pancake look or accentuating my wrinkles. I've tried a lot of different foundations and this is best for everyday wear for sensitive combination skin.

I have always been a powder girl, up until now. This liquid makeup makes my skin have a refreshed, natural look. I just wish there was better packaging for it. The glass bottle makes it a little difficult to get some of the product out. I love the packaging of the other Clinique formulas, especially the plastic, as it would allow me to get every last drop out of what I paid for. If only there's a better way to package this.
I don't get it. Why does Clinique refuse to make more shades for this foundation? It's supposedly a bestseller and has high reviews. Why are there so many fewer shades than some of your other foundations? All of your shades in the very fair range are cool neutral. I need warm neutral or at least a true neutral shade. Linen seems to be a good fit for me, but they won't make it in this foundation. The other shades are too pink and the one shade you have that's warm is way too dark. Make more shades for those of us at the ends of the spectrum!
Have used Clinique Super Balanced Foundation 03 Ivory for a long time. It looks perfect & the shade exactly right for me. I get complimented on my skin. Last week I bought a new bottle in Boots. Shade 03 Ivory. The shade is totally different and I look like a palid ghost. How can Clinique change the shade of the foundation in the bottle but still use the labels, 03 Ivory & NO warning to faithful customers of shade change. I feel thoroughly cheated by Clinique after so many years. I am upset that my money is wasted. Hardly able to return to Boots as I have no receipt for a refund and no new make up. There are hundreds of make up products on the market but I so loved the one I trust for so long.
Initially, I was content with the Superbalanced formula. It was more runny than my usual foundation but I had run out and this was what I had available. Unfortunately, after repeated use, the skin around my eyes became red, puffy, and sore. I was at a loss as to what would cause it but after contacting my doctor, he said that it was dermatitis probably caused by makeup. I have never had this problem before with any other makeup product, including Clinique ones, but after I stopped using it, the problem area healed. I was disappointed with the results, especially as this is one of Clinique's more expensive formulas. It makes me nervous about buying from them again in the future.
I liked the consistency of this foundation much better than the Even Better foundation. I'd say it's more light to medium coverage, and goes on very smoothly. It didn't seem to clog my pores, though it did sink into my lines a little bit. I am combo/very oily and it did okay as long as I stayed on top of my oil with blotting sheets. The problem is the color options they have. I have very pale skin and the lightest color they have (CN02 Breeze) is still SO orange and a little too dark on me. I even have to use loose powder over my foundation to help control oil, and my powder is super light but it couldn't hide the orange. They need more shades and definitely more neutral ones on the fair side.
I recently tried Superbalanced Makeup for the first time. It goes on easily with good coverage and makes my skin feel very soft. I have dark circles under my eyes for which I usually use a concealor. With Superbalanced Makeup, I have not really needed to use a concealor. I was pleasantly surprised at how little I need to use to get the coverage I am seeking. I use baby powder to set it the same as I do with any foundation and sometimes re-powder after work. It lasts throughout the day even with me still wearing a face mask.
I love Clinique products but this product truly surprised me by how STUNNING it is. It's such a beautiful, lightweight foundation that truly enhances your skin rather than covering it. I can totally see this being my new holy grail all year, because it's lightweight enough for summer but seems buildable for when I want a little more coverage. The finish is neutral to matte, which was a pleasant surprise because the dewy finish of some other products can be a little too much for me at times. The only con of this product (and I really mean the only issue) is that it's a glass bottle that needs a pump and might get a little messy if not stored upright, but I love it so much that I'm ordering a backup and giving it five stars. If I could give it more stars, I would.
