First of all, it has to be said that I love the packaging of this cream. It looks and feels so fancy in this glass jar and has gold writing on the white lid. Very luxurious and attractive! Moving on to the scent...I'll be honest, when I first opened it, there was a very chemical smell to me and it reminded me of paint thinner or nail polish remover. However, when I applied the cream, there was no trace of the scent left behind. It was truly odorless on my skin. What I can tell you, though, is that it contains niacinamide, uses waterlocking fusion technology, and has biopeptide complex-- all of which work together to improve skin concerns such as hydration, pores, and redness over time. The key is to use it consistently. As always, your results may vary, but this is a really good quality moisturizer in my opinion and I have tried many. I forgot to mention that I also have acne and this cream did not aggravate any of my existing breakouts, nor did it cause any new ones to form. It will sink in and give you the hydration that you need. It's not just going to sit there on the surface of your face and make you look like a greasy frying pan all day, if you know what I mean. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this cream to everyone who is looking for a good daily (or nightly!) moisturizer. I think that it would probably be a good fit for just about any skin type. The only reason that I took away one star is because I really wasn't fond of the chemical smell when I opened the jar, and I wish it smelled like something more pleasant. However, I guess that putting up with a less than desirable scent for a few seconds is something that can easily be overlooked since the product has so many other positive benefits to offer.

The shape of the container is modern and breaks the mould of your everyday skincare container and the glass is reminiscent of a wall of crystal. It also has an added hygiene tab. The Magic range has revolutionised the skincare market and I believe the hype is all real. This product hydrates deeply and intensively. The appearance and texture of my skin felt more balanced and looked more radiant. I love that this product is fragrance free as sometimes it starts to bother me constantly being able to smell my skincare whilst trying to eat or drink and it can be very off putting. I applied the product at 7am in the morning and looking at results at 3pm, my face still has a glossy, hydrated and supple bounce to it. I wore this product without make up as it left my skin beautifully dewy and I felt confident enough to use this product alone. I experienced a noticeable amount of reduced redness around my nose area and I didn’t need to use any concealer. My skin didn’t feel oily thanks to the lightweight gel texture of the cream. I don’t have time to do the “5 minute tilbury tap massage” technique on a general morning, but I can imagine the results would be even better if I did. I enjoyed using the product and the results without this added step but it does add a really good informative process to use along side the product. Magic water cream is cruelty free and leaping bunny approved which is a huge hit with me and definitely helps to form the choices I make around my products. I admired that this product is refillable, supporting big brands dedications to become more environmentally responsible. I will continue to use this product in my morning routine.
