It is very effective at gently exfoliating your face because it contains a 3 acid blend. I love using this in the shower to wash my face, neck and décolletage. It leaves my face feeling very clean, soft and hydrated. I have been using it now for weeks and my skin has cleared up a lot. My skin tone is more even and my pores are smaller. I love that it is unscented because I have an exceptional sense of smell, and sometimes things bother me because of it (on my face). The gentle exfoliating SA lotion is made for everyday use and is a face and neck lotion. I personally have sensitive skin and cetaphils gentle exfoliating lotion has improved my skin in so many ways. I have applied every morning and evening after cleansing my face during my routine and my skin feels much smoother, softer and looks much healthier. The lotion itself has a nice smooth texture that doesn't leave behind a greasy sticky feeling after application and only has a slight scent in the beginning which disappears pretty quickly. I also like that I am able to combine it with my other daily products that I use in my routine to keep my skin feeling moisturized, smooth and refreshed every day! Even skin texture is the only thing that can do that. I do get the combination skin but this stuff neutralizing oils and dryness and just leaves soft and clean. It even feels great on my lips and doesn’t leave a bad taste I have to clean up either. This is a dream come true for sensitive skin but it definitely gets the rougher rougher skin as well. As with other Cetaphil products I’ve tried, the pump is easy to use and distributes just right. This is a terrific bare face product but I could easily boost it with primer for makeup if needed.
