The low profile of the positive and negative poles of the battery allowed plentiful room to fit battery and connect leeds. My first choice of battery was not suitable for the confined space. Staff were helpful in exchanging the battery for the correct one no hassles.
Really it’s hard to judge a new battery because it’s new, but it was good purchase with 25% discount. Reasonable warranty of 30 months.
Bought this for my boat. Only used for turning over a 30HP outboard. Works fine and a great quality battery with a long warranty and it was on special too. A lot cheaper than a Marine Battery.
Installed in an old car being renovated. Apart from checking electrics, I won't get to use it for 3 or 4 months.
Once again Supercheap Auto beat the other Auto suppliers for price, available range and service. The suggested battery for my car was too low for mounting bracket suggested by 3 other suppliers after checking the online system for my Rego number, the version for the station wagon was found to be; the correct height and terminal position and best of all they had three on the shelf. I needed to fit the battery myself and the Devonport Homemaker Centre Supercheap Team could supply me with the required tools to remove and install the new fully charged unit and also, they took the old one for recycling dollars.
This photo is of the Aussie made "43" battery. I drove out of my way to pick one up. Only to find that they only had the non-Aussie imported battery from Indonesia. The Indo one did not have the bigger gap between the 3rd and 4th cells for my battery clamp. Took it back to Lawnton to see if they can order the Aussie made one. That didn't work as Century didn't have a listing for two variants. So I had to make modifications and purchase a new battery clamp. Wasn't happy.However I must say the staff were fantastic and did try their best to help me out.
