Caudalie Vinosource Hydra - S.O.S Thirst-Quenching Serum 30ml

So, I have a bit of an annoying skin type; I definitely get dry patches but my t-zone can also become a little shiny throughout the day. At the same time it's really dehydrated, so my aim is to find products that plump up my skin and give it a hit of moisture without being too rich. Although I can go for a more heavy-duty moisturiser during autumn / winter, my ideal serum is something lightweight that packs a punch. This serum is almost water-light (and is oil-free) so absorbs quickly and easily into my skin and the formula is packed full of the Caudalie grape juice and water, which really does have that 'thirst quenching' effect on my parched skin. I do have some fine lines on my forehead in particular, which always look deeper and more visible when my skin is extra-dehydrated, and the Hyaluronic Acid in this serum plumps things out nicely so my makeup doesn't settle into them. It leaves things so smooth and also very soft to the touch. As an antioxidant, Caudalie also claim their grape extract is more powerful than Vitamin E, and in my experience they have a very similar effect on my skin. This serum just gives that dewy, fresh, even 'juicy' look, making my skin look nice and healthy, even when I'm lacking sleep and the weather is cold and miserable! It gives my skin lasting hydration and is nicely soothing, so I know it's going to be an essential as we head into winter - I'm already a good way through it. That would probably be my only drawback of this product; the super-watery consistency means I'm getting through it fast. Whilst £29 isn't unreasonable for a serum, I know this won't last very long.

I got a 10ml trial size in a Sephora box. I’m not impressed by this serum unfortunately. It’s HEAVILY fragranced which I find unnecessary in a skincare product and makes it more prone to irritation. There’s a few standout ingredients you don’t find much in other products but $64 for a simple hydrating serum, 30 MILLILITRES (!!!), is absurd. And its focus ingredient is hyaluronic acid, a very cheap and basic ingredient that’s not even the most hydrating (but that’s a convo for another day lol). Look into Korean skincare and get yourself a nice hydrating serum for below like $20 and twice the size just as effective. I don’t see this being necessary in anyone’s routine

Only 1 pump is really all you need, and it has helped not only keeping my skin hydrated and soft, but has helped restore my moisture barrier, since adding it into my skincare routine. There’s a very, very mild to barely there herbal scent, it doesn’t irritate or linger. Texture is on the thin side - but not watery, and it’s of a milky color. My face can’t get enough of it. I have a plethora of serums and whatnot, but this one stands above the rest because it works so well, and quickly you’ll see the results. I use this day and/or night. Worth the price!

I love this product! The serum is amazing! This is great for all skin types including sensitive skin as it goes on smooth, easily absorbed leaving your skin feeling soft making your skin plump, well hydrated and is lightweight. I apply this in the morning and again in the evening after washing my face and experienced no issues with any breakouts, acne or irritation. The scent of the serum is the same as all their Caudalie products. I get compliments all the time that I have a beautiful glow on my face. Highly recommend all Caudalie products!

Amazing

Love this serum it’s so clenching and makes my skin really glossy and shiny. It’s a definitely need for every day. And will definitely be making presents with it. Definitely repurchasing. I could not live without it. I love the packaging with the little pump. It makes it really easy access. It’s not too oily but not too thick.

Hydrated Skin

My skin never feels worse than when it’s dehydrated. It feels tight, uncomfortable and makes my making go all patchy. In order to give my thirsty skin what it needs - hydration! - I need to make sure I use some kind of hyaluronic serum. This one from Caudalie is one I always go back to - it does the job, is reliable, comes in a pretty bottle and at a good price as well. Like the much needed sip of water for my skin!

Loving it so far

Been using for a fortnight now, really light weight serum/moisturiser. Skin feels nicely hydrate, especially in the drying winter weather. Pleasant smell, not too overpowering, non-sticky and I just love that it's so light and refreshing on. Only need a tiny bit so even though its on the pricey side for my budget, it's worth it.

Really good product

This serum is light, non sticky and quickly absorbs into the skin so that I can apply a moisturiser over it straight away. A press top dispenser delivers a sensible amount for one application of serum, which spreads easily and the twist top keeps the bottle closed. I have only recently discovered Caudalie and I now have the stick deodorant too. I find the prices good, the products are eco- friendly and well priced for my budget.

this caudalie vinosource s.o.scthirst quenching serum is amazing. it is so hydrating and feels very cool, calm and incredible on my skin. it is very light and hydrating. i love this product so much. my skin feels so bright, hydrated and a lot less dull after using it for only 2 weeks 2 times a day. this product is very underated but definitely worth the price. i would definitely recommend.
