My Dad bought me this camera for Christmas. I used to use a EOS 8006, so I was wanting something that could change lenses so that I could use a 50mm lens. However once fiddling around with the settings, I found this camera to be near just as good as my old one. The quality is incredible. The 45x zoom feature is heaven sent. No additional lenses required! It can capture the moon in great detail. The only thing about this camera that is of minor inconvenience is the battery life, however, all good products must come with a fault, and luckily this one isn't too difficult to manage :) Great camera, would recommend :)

This camera is absoloutely amazing, I often upload pictures from it onto social media and they are very well received. Being a technophobe I use it on Auto setting and have even managed to capture some amazing moon shots. The zoom is fantastic. Love how you can connect it to your phone via wifi. Honestly wish i'd bought one sooner.

These camaeras are delicate and are easily broken. The lens are always causing error codes! The reason is that if a bit of dust or debrey gets into the lens mechanism or if the camera is dropped from more that a couple of fee,t the mechanism goes out. It jams up. There are no seals to keep the dirt or any water out so you do not want to use these things out doors in a dusty or wet enviroment. These are to be used ONLY in clean enviroments and keep the strap on so you do not drop it.

After my previous Canon Power Shot SX20 was damaged on a bushwalk, I was after a light and inexpensive camera to take bushwalking with me, so, having been very happy with my previous one, went for this model. Initially I was a little put off by not having a viewfinder and not being able to select ISO and speed, but quickly got over this. The remote functionand NFC capabilities are great and I am sure I will get used to the screen viewfinding. Good value for money and the zoom is terrific.
i bought this camera for making funny movies and the features on it are easy to use. Not to mention the but the 45x optical zoom is magnificent!!! although the only downside is that this camera when you zoom in while filming it tends to go out of focus which is kinda disappointing but the flash is amazing!!! when you use it in a dark room and the movie quality is good hd but the audio is ok and also the mic is at the back of the camera which i dislike because when you film someone talking it is bad because the audio is muffled kinda. But everything else is excelllent!!! im a happy customer!!!
I am frustrated. I specified i was looking for either a vid cam or normal camera, whichever one could do the following - connect to wifi, sd card storage, over 4hrs battery time, can pause during videos, and take still shots during a vid.... and this is the product the lady come up with........ i cant connect it to internet, i cant pause during vids, and i cant take pics during a vid. yes these can all be done as i was able on an older cheaper model i purchased in 2008. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IM DOING WRONG lolGreat device if I wasnt looking for something specific

An online review said I could expect 195 shots from a charge. Ive shot about 40 stills and one one-minute video yet Ive had to charge the battery three times in 20 days. The battery is tiny. It clearly doesnt have staying power. I like to shoot video a lot and may have to carry spare batteries. I cant put a filter on the lens, which is a pity because I normally fit a UV filter as standard and sometimes like to add Polaroid and ND filters. Also, the lack of a viewfinder makes it difficult to get good shots when all you can see on thevscreen is your own reflection. 45x optical zoom is perfectly adequate. Maximum zoom with digital assistance is 180x and at that magnification a tripod is a must. Im still getting used to this camera so this review is a work in progress.
ZERO STARS!!! This camera sucks. It takes every picture blurry, and I didn't use it until my 30 days was already over because I didn't need it until then. Unfortunately I am stuck with a camera that doesn't even take reasonable pictures and I can't even return it. I have gotten better from cheaper cameras.
I researched a few cameras. I was looking for an easy point and shoot with great quality. I wanted lightweight because it was for a Yellowstone vacation. I got exactly that. A small camera with great quality pictures, lightweight. The zoom is better than any phone. Highly recommend this camera
