Canon PIXMA Home MG2560 Printer

This product is amazing value. It's easy on the ink and print quality is very good for a $59 printer. Photo print quality is great on 4x6 or 5x7 photo paper. It lost a star from me as it doesn't photo print on A4 photo paper. But I've found A4 plain paper photo result is pretty good quality.

As other reviewers have noted, this printer does not come with a USB cable, which is around $25. I think it’s outrageous that Canon has done this - it’s false advertising. While it says it doesn’t have a usb cable on the box, it is small lettering and could be misunderstood (as I did) as referring to a normal USB cable that everyone has around the house. Definitely regret my purchase, and now I’ve got to go out and buy a cable! Major hassle given that I’m really busy today. Not happy.

A great all-rounder and very good value. I have used mine to print out copies of my resume and other documents. Great for scanning documents. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a USB cable so make sure you have one at home or buy one before or

Excellent device. Does everything, ink cartridges included. You will need a USB cord but its stated in the description! Also, dont fret if your pc/laptop is without a drive for the Scanner Installation disk; Canon have the software ready to download online on their website. I'm so happy with my purchase and glad I got it just when Noel Leemings sale was about to end!

Canon MG2560 Pixma Printer MG2560

I've had many Canon printers over the years and they have never let me down. I wanted a small low cost unit for my beach house to use on rare occasions when I needed to do some office work whilst enjoying the ocean view. This unit is fantastic. It set up in no time, easy to use and print quality is great. It also takes up little desk space. The scanning capability is fast and gives good results. I'll probably buy another unit as back up for my home office in case (if ever) my current Canon MP600R decides to retire. Aldo

Pros: Pretty quick, very easy installation and very good print quality. Excellent application and tool package provided with the installation allowing so many more features and uses. Excellent customer service. Business forCons: It did not come with required USB cable. It is also rather large, compared to many other printers in this price range.

Not economical to change brands/type due to cost of consumables on hand.

It is what it is. I bought it to replace the same model that after 12 months blew its power supply. The cost of using the spare cartridges I had being thrown aware exceeded the cost of a replacement machine. The old machine went to my next door neighbour who is going to use the internals to fabricate an undercarriage lower/lift mechanism for one of his model planes.

Pros: Well, I've only used it a couple of times, but, the results have been excellent. It's easy to use on simple things and I've not had a good look all the new things ,. Being a CANON it makes me very excited and proud to haveit. Delivery was on time as I was told and a very pleasant guy. Thank you.Cons: I can really say "no bad points at all" I'm just really pleased to have it with confidence.

Pros: I've owned larger printers with more functionality but at the end of the day you don't really need all that stuff. This one suits my needs perfectly and takes up a very small space on my desk. Print quality is fine. I also like the auto-off function. There's no point it staying on if you aren't using it.Cons: There's no bad points with this printer. If they offer to buy ink at a discounted rate when you are purchasing take them up on the offer. I did.

This unit fails in the most important area, printing from the computer, the unit labeled MG2560 but when checked thru Cannon found that the MG2500 does is not show on their system, which is why the set CD rom, MG2500 simple fails to down load or install the MG2560 to full operation, printing of accounts and other important work from internet. On test, does print a copy from the top of the unit but completely fails in the main action.Massive disappointment from what is a non multi function unit and of little use to me in replacing the MG7560 which is now past repairSorry Noel Leeming, its the first product purchased threw the company that has completely failed and am now looking for fully working unit as a replacement or refund on return.Thanks Walter Bowman
