Way before all the gender fluidity/pronouns, etc. there was a company named Calvin Klein that launched a risky, daring and provocative new fragrance. Ck one. The ads portrayed all types of people, all skin tones, body shapes, male, female, androgynous, etc. it was a breakthrough. So, yes, this fragrance earned its iconic status. Back to the fragrance. It’s unisex, citrus opening, clean, easy to wear, mostly for daytime and good for work. The notes are citrus, green, musk, light woods, a bit of violet leaves, orris root.

One of the legendary "fresh" from the 90s, along with L'eau par Kenzo, Paco Paco Rabanne, Acqua Di Gio Armani. I love this matte perfect bottle and the scent itself of course too. Calvin Klein CK One was the bomb when I started wearing it in my younger years. For reference I’m in my Thirty’s. Like you weren’t cool if you didn’t wear it. It’s a little masculine in my opinion but beautiful. It’s a youthful, fun fragrance that reminds me of my youth. I can’t count the number of bottles of this I purchased. I still purchase CK fragrances to this day. I currently have the Eternity for women but plan on purchasing more CK 1 now that it’s been brought up. It’s a really good fragrance that I recommend.

CK One is a youthful and fresh, clean scent and definitely unisex. It is very versatile scent, easy to wear, very casual for spring and summer. Its all about citrus, green and woody notes.It opens with a citrus blast followed by vivid green notes and cardamon. To my nose, the green and the citruses are overpowering over the tropical notes of pineapple and papaya making too difficult to detect them. It is not a tropical scent definitely. After some time I get lily, orris root and violet with weak nutmeg. The jasmine and the rose are almost invisible, so weak. At the end adds to the blend woody notes.
