Calvin Klein Euphoria Eau De Toilette Men 100ml

I'm old enough to have been able to buy this when it first came out back in 1994 and I still love it all these years later. To me, this is one of the best summer/warm weather scents ever but I use it year round. The bright citrus and floral opening tickles your nose. It is youthful and playful and when it dries down and the herb notes kick in it becomes a little more mature but still fun. I have a bit of an extensive fragrance collection and as you can see I use this frequently. It holds up very well against the other multi-hundred dollar bottles. It is a classic and often overlooked these days. This can be found in many box stores quite cheaply and I highly recommend you give it a try.

This is a citrus heavy aromatic and woody fragrance that is great to use in a warmer climate. The protection varies on everyone’s skin yet this is known to not the best projection. This fragrance also does not have good protection so it doesn’t last long. This is marketed as a unisex fragrance yet it does lean towards masculine in my opinion, but I woman could wear this. Even though this fragrance is a bit dated, it smells very modern. The atomizer is nothing special and neither is the bottle or box. I enjoy this smell but some people don’t enjoy it.

A Very Nice Clean and Crisp Scent

My partner and I really liked this fragrance. It is crisp and light was subtle enough that she didn't pick up on it or mention it when I wore it out. She just said you smell nice like you always do. Which is what I like about it. It is not loud and call itself out. Initially I thought it was a very simple scent that was heavy on the high notes, but after a little while the lower range came out a little bit. It has a pleasant aroma and for me anyway seems to lack a musk to make it more complex. We like it a lot despite or maybe because of this lack of complexity. As for the container, it is clean, sprays well and have a nice classy and useful shape. It sits well in the cabinet, not tippy and classy looking.

Didn't Overwhelm and Make Me Sneeze

To me some colognes are like garlic to a vampire--makes my nose burn, makes me sneeze, gives me a headache and sends me fleeing. Axe is one of the worst offenders. So when I sprayed this on my husband I was pleasantly surprised. The scent was lingering, yet subtle enough for me not to recoil. In fact it was pleasant enough for me to want to bury my nose into his neck (he found this amusing). The top notes are a woodsy botanical, without being too feminine and floral, The middle notes add a bit of spice without being too sharp and the base is a rich, deep, mellow fragrance with a touch of musk. But not enough musk to turn me off. I'm a fan of musk to a point and then it just starts to smell too much like a gamey ferret. Fruity scent, long-lasting, a bit too metro for me

I don't where a lot of cologne anymore because I find most contemporary scents far too metrosexual for my tastes. I had not tried a CK blend before, and I didn't know anything about Euphoria before hand, so I went into this experiment without any baggage, preconceived notions, or expectations. So, here's what I think. Euphoria really is a nice scent. I didn't notice the spicy notes. To me it came off as much more fruity than spicy. This, of course, could be because of my skin type, but I can't be sure. It's certainly not an overwhelming scent, but at the same time the sweetness was a bit on the strong side for my tastes. My first thought this is a pricy bottle of cologne for the size. I kind of thought that Calvin Klein was less than scents I have been using (spice bomb and tom ford). Once I put the Euphoria I realized I had misjudged and that this scent held up to what I perceived to be more expensive scents. First off this is a case of a little goes a long way as there is some serious holding power with Euphoria. The scent to me is a perfect day scent and comes across as very clean and crisp and makes me think of outdoors. 5 hours later when my Tom Ford scent as faded the Calvin Klein is still going strong. Like I previously mentioned the scent is fresh and clean (perhaps the smell of freshly washed linens?) but still manly enough. My Hubby smells intoxicating, I love this on him.

I wanted to surprise my hubby with a new aftershave for his Birthday. As i couldnt physically get to Boots to try it, i had to search online and look at reviews. I was searching for something deep, a wee bit spice and also woody. This Calvin Klein aftershave did not disappoint. I already wear Euphoria for women so i should have known it would be great. He loves it and is wearing it every day. He gets compliments about it, but what i love most is opening our bedroom door and this wonderful masculine smell just hits me. It smells divine x

OK, But Not Great

I thought I would try this EDT since one of my daughters wears Euphoria for women, which I like very much. This EDT has a pretty subtle finish. You almost can't detect it after about 30 minutes. On my skin it has a slightly fruity scent, and a very soft odor, somewhat like baby powder. I am not sure that I am all that fond of it. I have been wearing Armani Aqua Di Gio Essenza, which is absolutely outstanding, with its extremely fresh smell (like you just hopped out of the shower). And it lasts all day long, and well into the evening, from a morning splash. When measured against the Aqua Di Gio, the Euphoria doesn't even come close. No contest. Without exception, like clockwork, when I am wearing Aqua, they always comment, "Wow, you smell so good. What is that you are wearing?" And of course my girlfriend always says "you smell so intoxicating". But after wearing the Euphoria for a couple of weeks, I have not received one comment from the same above. Which pretty much says it all. The Euphoria is a pleasant smell, with nothing about it that might be a "turn-off", but it just doesn't stand out among many others out there. And as an EDT, it does not have the strength in odor, that it should have. Although something such as a cologne, ends up being a very subjective thing, with different odors appealing to different men and women, so this EDT might be the perfect odor for some men. It just does not ignite a spark for me.

Weird one for me this...wife bought me this a while ago & I wasn't too impressed...but I think that's because I made the mistake of smelling it up close & direct from my wrists where I sprayed it. And of course...you don't get the proper smell this way. Fast forward a few months....I bought 1 million....absolutely love the smell....yet I walk into work...no mention of it...apart from one younger girl who said I smelt like her dad & It was "orrible"! Dug this euphoria back out...one & a half years later.....I'm getting comments on how nice I smell??
