I bought these to eat over the Christmas period, as I have done for many years. However, temptation got the better of us and last night my husband and I just fancied some "scoffers". Unable to resist, we opened the Roses. Bad mistake! They were terrible - taste, texture, shape, wrappers all gone downhill. At least we got our disappointment over before Christmas. I will never buy these again. Come on Cadbury's - get a grip!

Roses used to be my all time favourite chocolates, now they just make me feel sad and angry. Everything about the way these chocolates are packaged just insults my intelligence - the sweets are smaller, the packets full of air, lots of plastic wrapping used to disguise the shrinking size. These particular boxes have become very wide, but if you look at them side on they are nowhere near as deep as they used to be, and that is before you open them to discover a half-empty box. I'd rather pay the money to get my giant tin full of sweets.

Searched for these chocolates for years as they were my husbands favourite. I couldnt believe I could purchase them again without being part of a mixed selection. Arrived before expected date in perfect condition. I just have to repackage them for Christmas.
I've bought this as a Christmas gift for my niece- as these chocolates are her favourite- and I know she's going to love them. Fantastic quality and generally a great idea to be able to provide specific chocolates in bulk as a gift! Many thanks, would highly recommend to others :)
I love Roses! They arrived totally undamaged. I was surprised at how small this box of chocolates is - but should have paid attention to the weight when I ordered them. Nonetheless, they will be enjoyed!!
I always thought you know where you are with a Cadburys rose. I used to like these so much I named my daughter after them but I dont think they taste as good anymore sadly. A bit chemically and artificial. Might have to change her name to hotel chocolat.
The only disappointment the choc. biscuits is there could have been more in the box. I didn't like the packs with american bars in (TWIX)My absolute fave was the ROSES.
Unfortunately all the small choc and nougat was melted tin of hero’s which we had to open which was for a gift were ok they did not melt hoping the after eight are also ok. But It was my own fault I did not read all the details that you put out before ordering but you do warn people that choc will melt if sent to hot countries, which I shall keep in mind for the future . I must admit I didn’t think it was being shipped from the Uk. Anyway it was my own fault.my grand children eat the choc after it had been put in the fridge even though it was mishap ended and a white color.
Not like they used to be but then everything has changed over time. I think they are only worth £2 maximum. If you have a sweet tooth you'll like these. I wouldn't buy them again.
