Brushless Cordless Radial Miter Saw XGT 40vmax Ø216mm (without Battery)

For a small mitre saw it has a big bite. A complete through cut of 320 mm in 19mm MDF. It is very light, powerful and accurate straight out of the box. It takes very little room on the work bench. I like it a lot. Would recommend it.

This new 40v saw is fantastic. To me who uses all day long, I’m still on the same battery and it’s as close to mains power as you can get from a battery. The accuracy is great, double bevel is a god send. All in all a great saw and one I would always recommend

Boss piece of kit. Battery lasts for ages. all the slides and spindles work well. Not tooo heavy. able to go through 8x4 sleepers with a turn as well as all timbers up to 3 inch thick and id guess 10 inch wide. cannot fault it

This saw is the ducks nuts. Cut mitres and square cuts perfectly. I paid extra for the 4ah batteries and they go on for ever. Well pleased with this purchase.👍🏻

Incredible saw

Best mitre saw Ive used, really compact and light but still has a great depth of cut. The rail system is smooth as silk and its has every feature all the top saws have but in a tiny package. (Depth stop/double bevel/shadow line etc.)

I will start saying that I owned a festool kapex 120 and I recently purchased the makita 40v 216mm mitre sawThis is a serious machine ,100% accurate easy to use and the shadow line make this mitre saw the best on the market overallAnd no one can beat the powertool world price .Battery last for everI seriously consider to swap completely to makita 40v

Makita LSLS002GZ01 216mm 40V mitre saw

I bought this saw through eBay as cheaper than actually buying it from the store. Cracking bit of kit. So smooth and better than my old electric one being a 40v. There is one slight downside to be aware of at the moment and thats the batteries are quite expensive being 40v and not 18v although I do believe the price will come down at some point. I did already have a couple of 40v batteries but did buy another at 140 for a 4amp.

Overall great bit of kit

Really quite compared with 240v mitre saws, loads of adjustment, easy to use. Work light is extremely useful and accurate. cuts are so clean and square! Paired with the stand and dust extraction this thing is a beast! highly recommend. Overall great bit of kit

Perfect all round saw

Perfect compact saw with a long cutting capacity. Very well made and powerful. I nearly went for the next size up but Im happy with this one as it will do every thing I need it for.
