Bought this product because it is Australian Standards approved. It is absolute rubbish. It repels water, with water and soil going down side of pot. I emailed Brunnings about this problem, but got no response.

I know that buying any potting mix runs the risk of introducing fungus gnats to your plants. However, the sheer number of gnats in this mix was crazy. Just beware, especially if you intend to use it indoors.

I've started a plant business & this is the potting mix I use in my plants. It does hold moisture VERY well, so be aware of that.

I've started a plant business & this is the potting mix I use in my plants. It does hold moisture VERY well, so be aware of that.
Basically black dust, doesn’t absorb water. Water just sits ontop and doesn’t penetrate, everything is dying!
I bought a couple of bags of this ‘premium’ potting soil for my potted lettuces and other greens. It’s ok, you get what you pay for! And the lettuces, rocket, parsley etc are doing fine. I prefer a different brand from a large hardware shop down the road... ;)
Used for my houseplants
This product is excellent because all seedlings and plants I planted are growing and I've been harvesting my herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and chokoes. I highly recommend this product.

Very poor quality. This soil repels water. As described by previous reviewers - black dust.
I bought 3 bags of this soil it is absolutely disgusting found pieces of rags in the first bag I opened the soil quality was like black dust
