If you didn't already know, perlite is very light like styrofoam and when i opened the bag it blew everywhere. Kinda funny now i wont do that again. Apart from getting to much in the mix my plants seem to like it and are growing well.

I think it’s better to buy separate perlite to add to potting mix, as I found potting mix with perlite added didn’t give enough drainage for some house plants. This suits my plants perfectly, and a little does go a long way!

It's a fluffy light material that I mixed with potting mix and sand to create my own succulent potting mix. It's light and easy to use, and works well for drainage. I've bought this product more than once now.

Really recommend this bad boy for aerating your soil! Boy oh boy do my pots drain well now. Goodbye waterlogged roots, hello immortality!Just to note though, you really shouldn't eat it. It smells great and the texture is appealing but it is not good for the bowels. Leave it to what it's good at - adding drainage to soil!
I recently reported all my indoor plants using a recommended mix of perlite , charcoal, coconut coir and potting mix . I am really happy with the quality of the perlite product - not flyaway like beanbag balls but light and aerating and the plants are thriving!!
I bought this thinking "how bad could it be?" Yep, it's like packaging foam. Super light and floats right to the top when watered and blows away. I wouldn't use it in anything other than potting succulents in straight perlite.
Perlite Potting Mix was recommended to me by a friend. The perlite keeps the soil well drained and does exactly what it needs to. It's been a few weeks and my plants are thriving.
Very good, but bag is too small. Trying to aerate a whole garden bed, you would need a bag bigger than potting mix soil. Otherwise does the job really well.
You cant go wrong mixing in perlite with any of your garden soils,i even got normal garden dirt mixed it with other soils and mixed in perlite for the extra oxygen release in the soil good as so you dont water log your soils too.
The packaging is green and it states "Perlite" which from my observations seems to be true.If the manufactures claims are indeed correct the bag should contain a small white pebble like substance which has many uses.The jury is still out on this one so I'm going to have to give it an average rating.Disclaimer: I have not yet purchased this item.
