I love my new BruMates look! The exact color I have wanted. Truth be told? I can’t get the dang lid off!!! Talk about a grip! When you push the lid down and turn it, it is so difficult to turn it back and lift it off. I thought maybe it was just me because I have trouble with my hands. My daughter tried as well and said it’s very difficult. Unfortunately, I won’t be buying anymore because of this issue.

OK. So many things to like about this mug. First of all, it has a very comfortable handle. Yay. Secondly, it keeps my coffee warm for at least 3 hours when I’m too busy to drink it quickly. Next, it will hold 12 ounces of liquid, which is usually the maximum amount offered on coffee makers, and still leaves room for the creamer. No overflow. Next, it is durable and washes easily. Finally, I love the ability to position the lid in 8 different ways, all around the top of the mug. Plenty of nice colors to choose from, too.

I traded up my Glitter White Rocks for this. It’s pure perfection. The size, the shape, the handle, and can we talk about this color!? The MUV octo lid takes some getting used to!! It frustrated me more than once initially. But, once you’ve got the hang of it, easy peasy! The handle is large and very comfy! It even fits my husbands large working man hands! If you’re a coffee and/or tea drinker, treat yourself immediately!

I’ve been a huge Brumate supporter for years. I fell in love with the Toddy for my morning coffee on the road to the office. Once they replaced the Toddy with this, I decided to give it a try.The cup itself keeps my coffee hot, maybe hotter than the toddy did! However this new lid design is absolutely awful. Once you get the lid on, it’s nearly impossible to pry it off. Have coffee in your cup and need to take the lid off? Forget it. You’ll be wearing your coffee. The only way I’ve been able to get the lid off is by pulling the lock straight up, which still poses a risk to spilling! Absolutely hate this lid, therefore rarely use this cup unless I’m desperate or my husbands around to help me (and wear the coffee ;))

I have always loved how hot and cold they keep my drinks, and they're the go-to coffee mugs for my husband and myself. Recently my well-loved and worn out Brumate needed a replacement, and I was thrilled to see the new mugs.I use this mug every day. I see all the reviews that state the lid will 'loosen over time'. It has - but barely. I struggle every day to open this mug. I have carpal tunnel syndrome, and I cannot imagine how other people with any issues or disabilities are expected to open this product. Every time I open the mug to turn it is hard, and to lift it up is even harder. I often have to put strain on the closure tab, and I worry ... The newToddy version, aka 15oz MUV is absllutley amazing. My husband and I are 16ozToddy lovers and use at least 4 cups per day for coffee , tea etc. My onlt complaint about the Toddy was that it did nor fit under our coffee mashine.... well fast forward .. and the 14oz MUV DOES !!!!Since we got the 15oz MUVs , our Toddy are kinda of forgotten 🤭. The 15oz Muv fits under our coffee mashine ( Delonghi Specialista), fits in my husband's Kia cuholder, is part of our everyday life and yes, we still use too many of them 🤭.Let's not forget they are still leakproof, cute and amazing to take with you even in a purse!
I was a HUGE toddy fan and was sad when they said they were discontinuing the style. However, I reluctantly ordered the new style and I must say, it is a tremendous upgrade! I love the thick handle and can't believe I ever loved the other skinny one. I only wish they would bring back the old colors in the new style ;)It is truly leak proof, so much so, that I sometimes can't get the lid off! It is amazing!!
I purchased this coffee mug mainly because of the handle. I have arthritis in both my hands and the handle is perfect. The lid is very difficult, especially if you have hand issues. If you turn to lock, it is extremely difficult to get off. I’ve read the reviews and replies and I have given it a few weeks and still difficult. The best way to get it off is just put it on and do not turn in any direction. Wish it had the screw on top like my old Brumate coffee cup.
The Müv cup is marvelous. It touts a leakproof top with magnetic flip top closure. It has a locking feature on the flip top preventing the user from accidently opening the top. The sip spout has a smooth transition when you drink no hesitation. Coffee also doesn't rush out to quickly when you sip. With a slip resistant handle, bottom, and top Brümate didn't miss with the Müv. I purchased this as a gift and my husband let me borrow it, I wished I had purchased one for myself immediately. One drawback: If you have any weakness in your hands you may experience trouble with twisting the top off.
I prefer smaller coffee travel mugs, and especially ones that look/feel like a regular coffee mug. True, they don’t fit in cup holders, but since it’s leakproof, I just toss it in my work bag without worry.I wasn’t sure how I’d like the thicker handle on the new Müv, as my favorite design was the Toddy (which had thinner handles), but I do like the feel of it. I worry a bit how the inner cushion bit will last as it feels similar to the kind of rubbery plastic used on umbrella handles that get sticky over time.The new lid has pros and cons. I like that I can put the mouthpiece any where, but this lid is much harder to remove than the screw-on lids. I have had to put my mug in the freezer a few times to remove the lid.Still, I recommend BrüMate to anyone looking ...
