Breville BFP100WHT Mini Wizz Food Processor

This is my second MiniWizz. It is so handy for pureeing small things. I used it a lot to puree an onion for bolognaise and for pesto but used it for pureed food when my children were babies. I had the old one for 10 years. It was still running beautifully but the back button became loose and cords were showing due to us keeping it in a drawer and being knocked about. Best to keep it on a shelf rather than a drawer with other utensils.

PROSEImpressive little processor, does just what I bought it for, chopping, nuts, sultanas and processed oats and seeds down to fine or coarse powder great for biscuit making etc.It is easy to use three button setting at front and very easy to clean, all parts coming off and just a quick rinse.CONSOnly thing is power cable is a little too short.Would have preferred clip for opening to be on the side or just a screw lock, as getting hands round back to use release button can be awkward.

When the little Sunbeam I had for 37 years was damaged it was not replaceable. I bought the Mini Wizz which is about the same size. The Mini Wizz is good but difficult to handle. It is difficult to position the bowl and the lid in place for use. I have used a nail polish dot to indicate the front of the bowl. When my hands are wet or oily it is almost impossible to position the bowl and the lid in place because the plastic is too smooth and slippery.I would suggest changing to a textured plastic bowl and cover and at the same time having something to indicate the front of the bowl. Apart from those problems the appliance works well.
