First comment - Can't fill out the "Review Title" box above - refuses to let me edit the weird "/[^A-Z0-9]+/gi" entry. Review website may need some additional work done !Second comment: I have been a customer of Bonds Raglan T-Shirts for 30+ years (or at least as far back as I can remember buying them). My order from March 2018 for 6 "black" raglan tees in size 14S, was a total disaster. All of these T-shirts were now made to a different shape/size and different fabric such that they felt at least 1 or 2 sizes too big. I still have them, but hate wearing them. They are all significantly longer (in the body and arms) than previous T-Shirts I had been buying for years. I chalked this order up to "bad luck", thinking a machine most likely labelled the batch ... MoreFirst comment - Can't fill out the "Review Title" box above - refuses to let me edit the weird "/[^A-Z0-9]+/gi" entry. I chalked this order up to "bad luck", thinking a machine most likely labelled the batch incorrectly and I couldn't strike the same problem again. Roll on to August 2018 where I took advantage of a "free shipping" offer and ordered some "blue" raglan tees in size 14S and guess what, same problem. Obviously Bonds have now changed the formula for size/shape/fabric for an item I had been buying for over 30 years. Sorry to say, but this loyal customer will now have to locate a competitors product (probably on-line) to get a "thicker" comfortable replacement.I wouldn't normally voice my opinion at review sites like this, but if it's my only way of telling Bonds …. "Don't mess with a product that has served you well for so long", then so be it. I'm guessing the fabric Bonds now use is thinner and lighter, meaning bigger profits because of LESS cotton.Such a shame, mine may be the only lonely voice complaining about "Raglan T-Shirts", but thanks for listening anyway.Regards,Ralph Unverhau

Bonds had a good reputation for supplying consistently made goods. Sadly this recent purchase is not of the same cotton quality that was originally used, this product is a thinner looser weave...nowhere near as good... it appears that to compete in the market place or to improve your profit margin you have sourced cheaper materials/manufacturer. You have now created a gap in the market for a product you used to make! If it means sourcing better cotton like your original cottons 10 years ago and increasing retail price a few bucks so be it because your customers will forget the price in a very short time, but will not forgive you for making an inferior product every time they slip on a Tee. Remember: Your best customers are your existing customers. Also using the ... MoreBonds had a good reputation for supplying consistently made goods. As a kid, during WW II I learned that US sailors wore "under T,s" instead of under-shirts and I really liked that. In my teen years I persuaded my parents to let me wear them and have ever since. I discovered Bond 'T,s' when I came to work in Perth, W,A. in 1962 and have been wearing them since then. The reasons? They fit, the raglan sleeves see to that, they're made of high quality cotton and launder easily and best of all they are comfortable I purchased 5 of them recently in my 92nd year..

Bonds raglans have always been my favourite tees. They're very popular with musicians! Hospitality workers in Australia used to love them too. But why can you not buy the ones you used to get, such as size 12? The one I bought recently was the smallest available (size 14 mens) but it's a bit too large...long, and the sleeves are too long. I have some really old ones that are the right proportions but are getting very worn....they may have been size 12 boys ones. The sleeve band sat above the bicep, which is a better look. Would love to be able to buy new ones like that!
I used to buy a lot of these during the late 90s, and always liked them - although I found the "originals" from that era too short, and that they would lose their shape after a few washes (and shrink vertically to make the fit worse). While there are people who have reviewed these claiming that they aren't as good as they used to be, I would say that in my experience (buying the black ones), YES they ARE different, but somehow they've improved them. The fabric is softer now, and after several washes and tumble dries, they are still retaining their shape better than the 90s versions.Add the seamless structure, and for me at least, they're a better product than before.I will add that the fit is smaller than they used to be. My actual size and measurements haven't changed since '97, but I used to wear a 12 or 14 then, and find that the 12 is now slightly tighter.
This T-shirt looks great straight out of the packaging and fits perfectly. So why only 3 stars? Because as soon as I wash it it will lose its shape and look like crap. There are many reviews online that express this same problem with this product. I used to love these t-shirts as they kept their shape and made me feel great but now it's no longer the case. Dear Bonds/Hanes, when are you going to do something about the quality of this product? You know that it's not as good as it was. Your customers will no longer continue buying this product (and supporting your brand) if they are left with t-shirts that are only useful as rags after only a few wears. Please lift your game. Your customers will support you if they see that you care about them and the quality improves.
These old school raglan tees are awesome. So soft and light and the fit is perfect. They take me back to school days in the 80's where these were the gold standard of tee-shirt. Still as good as ever. Make sure you buy big as they do shrink a bit in the dryer.
I bought these t-shirts about a month ago, the supply has been pretty average lately, not many in my size or chosen colours, so have had to wait for something that has always been easy to get. Blaming Covid doesn’t really cut it as an excuse anymore.Plus the raglan range needs more choice of colours, a military green would be VERY POPULAR among the people I know for a start. So it’s time to move with the times I think.
I have been wearing these beefy t raglan t shirts for the past 30 years. I moved to Australia when I was 24. Now 55 and back in uk still ordering online. Same size. Perfect fit for chest and guns. Best fit after first wash and tumble dry. Older ones I wear at work ( I’m a decorator) and get about 15 years wear out of each T-shirt. PLEASE BRING BACK maroon pale blue and green
