Bondi Sands Sunny Daze SPF 50 Moisturiser 50 G

Great daily SPF for very oily skin. Is a good shade match for warm or olive toned skin roughly in the range of NC25-35. If you are lighter or darker than that range, I am not sure how you would find the tint. The tint provides very little coverage and is there to offset the white cast, but it does lightly even out skin tone. You have to work very quickly when blending in the SPF as it dries down fast. If you have any skin type other than very oily skin, I would strongly suggest using a moisturiser underneath; however, if you are like me and have very oily skin, you would be fine using the SPF on its own and it is lovely. I have to be completely honest and say this isn’t my FAVOURITE product. The novelty of having a moisturiser and SPF wrapped in one doesn’t outweigh the extra time it takes to layer them for me personally. I think being a combined product I worry about the efficacy on either side, am I really hydrating my skin and am I really protected from sun (yes, I an, but I do worry). When used alone, the product sits nicely and had a beautiful, dewy finish, but when layered with anything else it pulls terribly and comes straight off in little rolls. If you want to use it under makeup you have to wait a considerable amount of time for absorption at which point any time you saved using a combined product is lost. I do like that it is 50+, I think that is amazing and necessary for the Australian sun. The sunscreen doesn’t leave a white cast and isn’t greasy I think this product is best suited for a young person who is new to skincare or somebody who wants something really easy to apply at the beach or pool that covers both bases for moisturise and sun protection. It definitely has its place, but I don’t think it’s for me in my morning routine. I was gifted this product to trial and review.

Ok so I’m here to redeem this spf from all the negative reviews, This is my go to all time fave. It’s different to any I’ve used before and the trick to it is: if you have dry skin like I do, use a moisturiser first!!! When you do it applies so nicely, it has a super slight tint that yes looks dark when it first come out of the tube but once it’s rubbed into moisturised skin it gives loveliest light sort of coverage. It’s also not super shiny like other spfs and leaves the skin nicely matte. I wear this every day and don’t feel the need to wear foundation as it evens out my blotchy skin tone. I’ve repurchased this so many times and can’t recommend it enough! Just use it wisely and you’ll love it too :)
