Bondi Sands Self Tanning Back Applicator

It was alright. It seemed a bit flimsy where you couldn't really put a ton of pressure on it so was a bit difficult to really get even coverage everywhere, but it got the job done in the end. A few streaky spots if you didn't really pay attention especially around your sides and near the back on the underarm. Was easy to clean though and was soft on the skin. I would still recommend it but suggest a making it a bit more sturdy and rigid.

Awful

I hate this thing. Don't waste your money!! I can't return mine because I waited too long and threw the box out. Has the dumbest design ever! It's not long enough to reach where you need it to. The tanning pad is too small and creates streaks and the sponge to help remove excess product is too small. I know other brands have these too but I wouldn't waste my time with those either. Use the towel like one that you rub back and forth or get a back applicator for lotion, put your normal mitt on it and secure it with a clip or rubber band.

Do NOT recommend

I really thought this was going to be a great product because of the first few reviews I read, but after having tried using it several times I just can’t understand how anyone would review this well. It’s flimsy, hardly spreads the product around, buckles easily… it needs to be stiffer/stronger, and curved inward a little. But it’s just poorly constructed… Sad!! Especially for the price! I would not recommend this product. There may be a better one out there, look around first.

Great value. Great Applicator.

Such a great little product. I love that you have the option of the pad, which has the same texture as the Bondi Sands Tanning Mitt, or the smaller sponge, to apply your tanning product. I use the sponge to blend in the trickiest areas of my back. Just make sure you snap the Applicator fully open and keep the pad flat to your body for the best finish. I didn't get any missed patches or streaking with this Applicator. It's such a great price and comes with three extra replacement pads too. I definitely recommend if you struggle to reach areas on your back.

I have fibromyalgia, nerve Impingements in my neck from whiplash and bursitis in both shoulders..so a right painful combination! I've not done fake tan

I've not done fake tan in years but wanted to lay off the sunbeds so thought I'd give Bondi Sands a go. I love the tan I bought which lasts really well and smells of coconut (call me weird, but I actually miss that fake tan smell!) Bought a mitt and the back applicator. I find the back applicator a little awkward to use, but that's probably more me and not the applicators fault! Hence the 3 stars. I do use it, but still try and get most areas with the mitt.

Just okay

So I don't understand the sponge side of this applicator because it would completely soak up the product and not disperse it. Recommend skipping that side. But the side that is similar to a tanning mitt worked well enough. I don't overthinking applying tanner to my back since it's rarely ever seen. The most I'm usually concerned with is making sure that's no harsh lines from not being able to reach and this fixes that well enough. Fairly flimsy and cheap feeling but good enough for the price.

Oh I have been waiting for this to be made - thank you! This is the perfect applicator for back tanning coverage - and any of those hard to reach areas. This is great for preggy mums who cannot reach their legs haha. It feels great on the skin and is easy to use. I didn't even know I needed it until I got it and realised I'd been waiting for it. Perfect for applying moisturiser as well and exfoliator - well anything

Very handy

Works very well at tanning your back. I personally don't find the velvet flat side very useful but I do find the blue Sponge side of the applicatior great. Applies the tan evenly & lasts a long time. I think this is my third applicator in over 5 years, so I never hesitate to buy a new one when I need it. A great price also!
