We use our Crosswave on area rugs and laminate surfaces. Much more effective than steaming and Bona==all of which takes longer. The Crosswave is a bit pricey, but it works better and faster than any cleaner we have had before. Battery almost lasts long enough and the cleaning cycle is a real improvement.

I have not mopped my oak prefinished hardwood floors for years in this one room, as I thought they looked great. Since I was doing a room makeover, I thought it would be a good idea to use the CrossWave with the Wood Floor Formula (with the fresh lemony scent) to clean them. After I was done, I thought they were shiny because they were slightly damp, but I was wrong. They came out beautiful, and I had "gleaming hardwood floors" instantly. The CrossWave using the Wood Floor Formula left my floor spotless, and like-new shiny. Great job Bissell, I love my CrossWave and I have found another use for this great cleaning tool.

I have a century old hardwood floor through my kitchen and hallway to the dining room. It is beautiful, but the kitchen has 5 doors - meaning it's the route to everywhere in the house as well as to the back yard. So even more than most kitchens, it's the most used (and most extremely dirtied) floor in the house! I bought the CrossWave to help me out, and it is a miracle to use. But after using up the sample Bissell wood floor formula that came with it, I thought I'd just use my old floor cleaner fluid instead. I was surprised to find out that, although the CrossWave continued to do an excellent job cleaning the floor, the wood floor formula by Bissell really made the wood glow in a way that my trusted old wood cleaning fluid doesn't. I tried others, but just wasn't as happy as I'd been with the Bissell sample. Annoying, because I'd prefer just to pick some cleaning fluid up when I need it, but I can't find it in stores. I confirmed when I received the case that Bissel's wood floor formula streaks less, and glows more. I would only ever buy it by the case, because otherwise with shipping, it's too expensive and inconvenient to run out of.

Wonderful results. I was skeptical when I first decided to use products with my new Crosswave but the results speak for themselves. Seldom, these days, do you actually find something that not only does what it says but far exceeded my expectations. They brought "life" back to my rugs and floors. They were simple to use and dried exceptionally fast. As I watch new life, softness, and color jump back in my area rugs and my hardwood floors have that new floor look again. If it had been anything less I would have said that but am over the moon with my results.
Great purchase, save so much time since you get to wash and vacuum at the same time! Doesn't leave soap strikes on the floor, doesn't leave the floor too wet either. The only down sides I found is that when you completely fill the container, the bissell gets kind of heavy. You have to keep pressing on the latch when you want your whole floor to be clean, so it can be tiring for the hand. The head is also quite large so you can't fit it everywhere under the furniture and in restricted areas. However the power of suction is great. I'm very pleased with my purchase! #sweepstakes
I am not entirely sure I like this cleaner. It does seem to be balanced for wood floors but I'm not sure it helps clean with any more efficacy than the water I've been using. It is better about leaving less streaks in the semi gloss finish when you look into the sun so I could be wrong. I do enjoy the light smell which speaks most to me. My wife seems to disagree but I do the cleaning so she lets me win that debate.
We bought a CrossWave last year for our bed-and-breakfast, and it's pretty fantastic. Great on hardwood, tile, and area rugs. We don't use the Bissell formula all the time, but this hardwood cleaner does seem to have a good balance between being a good cleaner and leaving a (mostly) streak-free shine - plus, it smells pretty great. We've found that we can magic up a homemade cleaner that gets pretty close, but it's nice to have the official corporately-blessed product on the shelf for most day-to-day use, particularly with our staff. It's easy to measure, easy to use, and produces consistent results.
Most of the main floor of my house is floored with Pergo wood flooring. Until I bought the amazing Crosswave, I spent hours keeping it clean and shiny! I was delighted to find something that would not only accomplish the task for me effortlessly, but do it better than I ever could before! It is worth double what I paid for it, and I don't think I could ever go without it again! The Wood Floor Formula is the Perfect Companion for the Crosswave Machine! My floors look as though I waxed them for hours! The scent is very nice, too!
The Bissell Wood Floor Cleaning Formula made my wood floors look like they have been refinished! It easily picks up stains, scuff marks, and dirt the first time and leaves the floors with a beautiful shine! They look renewed and I didn't have to scrub or buff them. My job was quick and easy!
Based on the other consumer reviews, I gave this a formula a try. But it fell well short of expectations. Prior to, I was using a combination of wood cleaner and wood polish, and while it took longer and required more equipment, I would highly recommend that alternative to settling for this one.
