Great for helping break up the phlegm congestion on the chest and bring it up, hopefully so you don't get get a bacterial chest infection. Really good for prevention of this. Helped me shorten the uncomfortable symptoms of a cold.
I have chronic mucous production and this really helps to clear it so I end up having to spend less time coughing through the day.
