I had tried a couple products from Biossance with good results. I watched a Biossance live stream where the two hosts (a facialist and a dermatologist) said you can layer this spot corrector with other products, no problem. And they both said all their products were great for sensitive skin. I remembered I had gotten a sample of this product with my most recent order, so I put this serum on then layered it with the rose c oil serum. I then put my sunscreen and makeup on and went to work. The right side of my face started getting red and itchy. The following morning my face was puffy, itchy, and red. This was during the week of our Christmas activities at work, so I felt I needed to be at work. Thank goodness we still wear masks at work. From somebody who used to breakout all the time and having scars this is my holy grail. I alternate this with the lactic acid, 3-4 days Vit C then 3-4 days lactic and my skin never looked better and clearer, not even when I was using the prescriptions from the dermatologist. I'm so happy I don't ever have to use that again and these products actually works. It does take about a week or so before you start to see a difference but definitely by a month I noticed the change. I wished I had taken pictures but I've been disappointed with other products in the past that I didn't think this one would work. I'm a big fan of Biossance skincare. I love the Renew Cream, as well as the eye-treatment duo.Now, the Vit. C Serum just didn't work with my skin. I went through my first bottle with no reaction issues, and I thought I was seeing some improvement to old blemish and sun spots on my face. But then once on my second bottle, I developed a bad reaction from using this Vit. C Serum. Eye-lids and lips became red and swollen, and I developed dry itchy skin on my face. I went to a dermatologist to get a prescription steroid cream to reduce the inflammation and redness. I determined that this serum and the Vit. C Facial Oil (not as strong of a reaction compared to the serum) caused a contact-dermatitis reaction on my face. I have since used different natural brand vit. I got it as a sample first and was using it along with other samples so when my dark spots started lightening initially, I wasn't sure which product to attribute the improvement to. But after testing out the various serums on their own, I realized this was the one making the magic happen! It works very well for lightening old acne scars and it is light and very comfortable on the skin. I could start seeing the dark spots lighten within days of continued use. I am on my 2nd full bottle now and it has become a staple in my skincare routine. I honestly think this works wonderfully and is a worthwhile investment to improve complexion.

I use it along with their squalane oils (regular or rose oil). I use the oils at the end of my shower while my skin is still wet, and then use the vitamin c dark spot serum once I'm out along with their eye cream. I hoped the serum would reduce the look of some dark spots on the side of my face/cheek area. Unfortunately, after six months of use there is no difference with my dark spots. So, I recommend you learn the preservative ingredient lists and stay away. This product is definitely worth using !
