Love the rich flavor! this is really the best sugar to go with coffee. this sugar's sweetness is rounder and has more depth as compared to white sugar which is like a flat sweet taste. also other Demerara sugar cannot compare.this is a bit pricey to use in cookies and its natural flavour will be covered by flavouring essences or spices added in the cookies... so I don't see the point to go all out with this sugar for cookies.

I use this sugar for my jerk marinade which I make from scratch. The easiest way to describe it is using all the spices on my rack plus lime juice, sunflower oil, and juice from pineapple. Marinade pork or chicken in it, or just vegetables carrots and potatoes love it The good thing about this sugar is it is not too sweet. And it has a deep flavour that simply enhances roast meats and vegs. No time to marinade Just do a dry rub of spices and sugar. The flavour is out of this world, dont know why it works so well, maybe it is the lime and pineapple, the sour with the sweet, the salty with the sweet... it is just so satisfying

This brand is a great choice for organic turbinado sugar. This sugar is much more expensive and harder to find. Wholesome and iHerb offers this sugar at a better price than anywhere else. This sugar is great for coffee and as a baking ingredient. Great quality. My wife uses it to top her homemade muffins. . .Mm. Ill be buying more of this sugar soon.

We got his as a substitute for our normal Tate & Lyle Fairtrade Demerara Sugar (1kg). This tasted to us exactly the same but is twice the price, as this bag is only 500g. We didn't say no to the substitution as we had nearly run out of our normal sugar, but we wouldn't purchase this as too expensive.
