Bialetti! It's tried and true 80 year old technology that is made up of 5 separate parts, none of them moving with no batteries or electric cord required that makes coffee as good as Nespresso minus having to use dedicated (expensive!) coffee capsules. (Plus replacement gaskets are still readily and cheaply available decades later.) What's not to like?!!!

Fit the 6 cup Bialatti I got at the thrift store for $2.50, half off. The basket is a perfect fit and it's delicate, so don't be banging it into things to rid it of old grinds. Aim water up the upspout and it all dumps out. I also bought a few packages of the multiple gaskets with the perforated top cap. I'm glad the pot was cheap!! I like the coffee it makes. It's a little fiddly to fill the cup up to the brim with just the slight bit of tamping in the last few grinds, but I'll get the hang of it. I used 6 heaping tablespoons in my one cup, over the cup Melita brewer as I keep seeking stronger brews. I use half that much, grind it a notch finer--oh, and a medium grind espresso, not a very dark roast French Roast from mean green. I bought this because the filter on the last espresso maker I bought didn't seem to make good coffee. I couldn't figure out why the pot didn't work as well as my others then noticed that the filter was a little shorter so it didn't use as much of the water. (I like to keep this one in my camper. And I have one I keep at home.) This filter is the same size as the one that makes the good coffee and works great!
I bought this to replace the damaged funnel in a Bialetti 3 cup Moka coffee maker which was almost 40 years old and which I use every day. I was delighted with the quality and the speed of delivery. Hopefully I can enjoy my morning coffee for years to come. Thank you.
I really do love the quality of espresso my Bialetti Moka Express brews. I've had mine for many years, and I wish I could show you all a picture of my original funnel--you wouldn't believe the shape it was in (literally!). I'm sooo grateful for the new funnel that I was able to find on eBay. It's a perfect fit!
Purchase the wrong replacement funnel. Still unopened but as I only realised 15 days after purchase date it is not returnable - even for credit. Think given this is on-line purchase you should consider lengthening your return policy.
It works well, but is not the same quality as the original funnel which came with the moka. The metal is thinner and doesn't feel as strong. I only bought the replacement because coffee residue collects on the inside with use over time and then the coffee doesn't brew through completely. Once I find a good cleaner to dissolve the residue in the original funnel, I will use it again and the replacement will be a back up.
Not good. What is a standard cup? I don't know. So I rang through, reported the diameter of the accessoris I wanted and was told to offer the 4-cup. It was wrong. It seems that it depends on the type of Bialetti. Anyway, I placed the order and it was wrong so I had to spend $11 to return the items. Hopefully si will get my money back. I won't do online ordering for a Bialetti again. Had the same problem with an earlier order with another company.
Love it! it's the original part from Bialetti, it fits perfectly in your moka and reflects the usual outstanding Bialetti quality. When you own a Bialetti, occasionally you like to renew some components such as rubbers and filters and you are better off purchasing original spares from the company. If you do this your Bialetti will last for years giving you good coffee for years to come and the money will be well spent. I never buy nothing else and is always good value.
