Well as you seen from the title this monitor really simply gorgeous. Even though I have my own speakers, for those who do not , the sound that comes out of this monitor is pretty good. I was worried that the monitor would not be bright enough as 240-280 nits seems scary low but in fact turned out to be perfectly fine. Lets see how far this lasts in terms of longevity but for now this thing is stunning. In terms of build quality it seems to feel decently solid, I would say the buttons feel a bit meh. The only disappointment was that the little nub controller thing in the back that controls the monitor settings looked slightly bent to the left but with a tad force I seem so have been able to straighten it by moving it all the way to the right and back to middle ... My guess is a slight build flaw but nothing major. Another slight annoyance is the price as I think this monitor should be priced at 500$ but if you have the money, I would recommend BENQ over any of the other brands because there are very few cons vs pros. Before I finish this review I would like to also mention that I have not encountered any backlight bleed at least on my panel. I played some games with dark visuals and have not encountered any major white offensive backlights appearing in gameplay so also an absolute bonus.

TL;DR - get this if it is in your budget. Great monitor for the price! Also the speakers are a nice bonus.Monitors get better and better over time. I had a cheaper entry-level 2k BenQ non-gaming monitor 6 years ago and it was fine but this thing is amazing. I have never heard anything bad about BenQ but I usually purchase LG products. I upgraded to this from an MSI 144HZ 2k monitor that died after 5 years.*165HZ is nice for gaming*It advertises HDR but I feel like it's a meme. That being said, the colors look great after during some tuning. It also has a lot of color options to adjust unlike my old MSI monitor!*IPS panel looks great! I could see spending $399 for the features tbh.

This monitor does it all for gaming and productivity. Great specs: 1440p, 165Hz, VRR, 10-bit, IPS, the panel is very sharp for 27", has wide viewing angles, and very accurate colors in sRGB mode. After a couple tweaks in the other modes look great too. The high refresh rate is smooth and responsive with no ghosting. VRR works perfectly with G-Sync when you enable it in NVCP.I was really surprised by the sound quality, this is actually a standout feature. The built-in speakers are way better than any monitor I've heard. It has clear, loud audio and good bass, and there are even sound modes for voice, music, movies, etc. It's like having a soundbar below your screen. I often use headphones, so this is a great alternative where I was able to remove the speakers from my desk so it created a much cleaner workspace. The only con is the mediocre contrast. This is common with these nano IPS fast refresh panels. Reviews show it at only about 900:1, which is similar to other monitors using this panel. Although there are some with a newer AUO IPS panel that hits 1100:1, those monitors are more expensive, so this isn't a deal breaker.BenQ also has drivers with an ICC color profile and firmware update on their website. This provides for extremely accurate color. This is a 9/10 monitor and a great value. One of the best all around you can currently buy for gaming and productivity use.
Overall a good monitor its advertised as hdr 400 but once I updated the monitor drivers from benq website it now says on windows display settings that it's hdr 600? Did they add 200 cm2 brightness in these driver updates. It does the job very well, slight ips glow on mine but not noticeable ingame. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 was because mine turned up out of the box with a stuck pixel (greenish blue) that is still here to this day. 5out of 5 for overclockers though would recommend them for your pc needs . Benq, their QC needs to be better.
I was looking for very specific things in a monitor that hit my price range. Honestly it was a little frustrating, I spent a number of days searching all kinds of sites around Black Friday. When I finally came across this monitor it was a no-brainer. Thankfully it was right at my budget of $325 (on sale obviously). I did not want to buy speakers for my computer set up, and the speakers on this monitor are decent for sure. Unless they get damaged somehow there's no need to buy any. I was also on the lookout for a 27" with 1440p res, and most that I looked at were either 1080p or out of my price range. Again, this hit the mark perfectly. Lastly I wanted the monitor to be versatile, which no other product fit until I came across this one, it was multiple display ports, ... Lastly I wanted the monitor to be versatile, which no other product fit until I came across this one, it was multiple display ports, plus a headphone jack. I've had it for almost a week and love it. I'll use it for content creation, graphic design and maybe a touch of gaming. Don't think the color standards are ideal for this purpose, but it's a good starting monitor for me.
The monitor as a whole is great, but the problem is that BenQs decission to use two VASTLY different panels is puzzling, and is why this monitor has a wide range of "excellent" to "good". No product should have this range of quality. The real, high-quality monitor comes with an LG panel, and then there's the "just good" Innolux panel. The two panels are very different, but most importantly, it seems the Innolux panel does NOT meet the stated specifications of the EX2710Q. I got the Innolux one. No matter what I do, I can just get the monitor to calibrate to no more than a 87% P3 coverage, which is way below the advertised 95%. Also, the image has a noticeable green tint as default, which can be only calibrated using the Manual mode. Problem then is... Manual mode ... Manual mode does something that crushes the gamma curves and color coverage, dragging the monitor to an unacceptable 77% P3 coverage, which is noticable in image quality, saturation and banding. For those that just plug it in, tweak here and there... it's a GREAT monitor. High quality, and speakers are outstanding. I expected just "better" integrated speakers, but these are actually very good. Problem is the excessive lottery you draw with the monitor. You should NOT have to hope you get the "good veersion" of the same monitor. No Matter what BenQ says... the Innolux panels is just way too inferiour to the LG panel to be used within the same product and call it "equivalent". Very dissapointed of what I expected to be a great monitor buy.
I picked this up on sale for $329 during black Friday and would say anything under $450 is a good price, it is last year's model so the retail was $649. As I unpacked it I was impressed by the quality feel of all parts and the variety of included cables. This is an IPS gaming monitor so the lower contrast and backlight bleed will exist for any company using this technology. It is targeted toward gamers, and office and photography users should look elsewhere. The included Monitor speakers are actually useful, if you are tight on space or money they provide acceptable performance(amazing for a monitor).
I was interested in this monitor even though I already had a 27" 1440p 144hz IPS display because it seemed like it would do a lot to help the ergonomics of my battlestation setup: the USB hub would reduce cable clutter, and the speakers with built-in subwoofer (a feature no other monitor but the EX2710Q and its stablemates boasts, as far as I am aware) would allow me to get rid of my dusty cheap Amazon 2.1 speaker system and hopefully be "good enough" for casual listening. My first impressions were fairly positive. The picture is on par with other 1440p IPS displays. There were no dead pixels, and while I am not the type who is bothered as much by backlight bleed as some, it didn't seem excessive. Nothing to find fault with visually. However, the "HDRi" feature ... Nothing to find fault with visually. However, the "HDRi" feature BenQ touts heavily seems like a gimmick to me. I can't detect it reacting and adjusting to ambient light at all in either the game of cinema HDRi modes, and I simply left it on "regular" HDR most of the time. The speakers, while they couldn't match the max volume of my old discrete 2.1 system, were clear and not tinny with a decent amount of bass - plenty good enough for sitting right in front of the monitor, if not capable of "filling a room" with sound. Unfortunately after one day of use the speakers developed an unbearable buzz regardless of audio mode or volume setting. It was noticeable just listening to someone talk in a YouTube video, and the shield recharge noise in Halo Infinite sounded like the back of the monitor was about to fall off. Since the audio capabilities were the single standout feature of the monitor for me - there are many monitors with equivalent display specs and built-in USB hubs, and more feature-rich ones at that - this is going back to MC for a refund. To be clear, with better quality control, and a couple of extra bells and whistles, BenQ could have made a top-notch gaming/productivity hybrid battlestation hub monitor. The lack of any USB-C port here seems like a corner cut. Other brands offer displays in this class and price range that add integrated KVM switch capability to their USB hubs.Instead BenQ staked the value proposition for this display on the HDRi, which is disposable, and the built-in audio, which does indeed sound much better than average monitor speakers but on my example at least only for a few hours of use. This was probably bad luck, most of these probably won't have their audio hardware fail within 24 hours, but I'm skeptical about how many last through the warranty period and who knows what dealing with BenQ's customer service is like. If BenQ had been able to bring all these features (except maybe HDRi, which I am not convinced is anything other than empty hype) and made them work reliably at this price point, this monitor would have been a winner, albeit one with maybe a fairly limited audience. But alas.So it's back to the trusty LG Ultragear I've had for two years now for me. A disappointing experience.
I bought this for my son late last year when it was on sale - around $300 off the price. Today, he turned 13 and we gave it to him as a present.I must say that this monitor is the best I’ve ever seen. The graphics are rich and colourful, and the audio is superb! Together when setting it up we chose the graphics and audio. I love the cinematic audio as it has lots of bass and fullness. Incredible sound! We then played a few games including FIFA 2023. We couldn’t believe that we could actually hear the sound the soccer ball made when players kicked it. It sounded just like we were on the pitch (my son’s an avid soccer player). My son absolutely loves the monitor. He was going on about how great it was it all day. We’re very happy with it. I definitely recommend ... MoreI bought this for my son late last year when it was on sale - around $300 off the price.
