I honestly hadn't heard of Beko previously, but a little bit of research revealed that they are a very large and reputable company operating in many countries, so I felt confident that my new washing machine would be a high quality and well supported product, and I haven't been disappointed. I've found that I have to use much less detergent, whether liquid or powder, or there is a tendency for soap suds to leak from the machine, but on the plus side, that's saving me money, and the capacity isn't as big as I imagined and if the load is too large, same problem with water leakage, so there is a bit of a learning curve but its worth it in the end. To top it off, the 10 year motor warranty, and the 5 year extended warranty with registration gives me confidence that Beko believe it's a reliable and high performing washing machine, and I'm happy to let everyone know.

Bought this washing machine in Dec 2022, using it twice a week for last 6 months.Does it's job getting clothes clean however there are some things I don't like about it.It does not have a hot water intake, so takes longer and uses more energy to heat up water by itself. When wash cycle finishes, the sound it makes is too quiet and hard to hear so you need to keep checking to see if it's done. The timer is also inaccurate and sometimes changes, it'll say it'll be done in 10 minutes, I come back 10 minutes later and the timer has gone up to 15! Sometimes the wash cycle won't end, when the timer gets down to 0, it just stays on 0 for ages, occasionally tumbling the clothes. When this happens, need to manually hit the start/pause button to stop it.

I'd never heard of Beko before this machine. I had another model in mind at the time of purchase, but due to supply shortages and the pile of unwashed clothes in my room, this was it. And it's great! I'm on rainwater, and this little unit is pretty sparing on water. It has plenty of cycles, and if you still need more you can connect it to the app via bluetooth and it'll tell you what cycle to run for the clothes you put in it. I don't like the app very much, and I don't like the bluetooth function. You have to select the bluetooth cycle with the knob AND then hold a button for it to go into the mode correctly. The only other thing I don't like about it is the knob - it's a physical knob, not digital. I replaced an old top loader with the Beko 8.5kg front loader and I am very pleased with it. I had been recommended to the brand from my neighbour who has had one for years. I had previously owned a Bosch front loader for many years and had looked for another front loader for performance, high energy and water efficiency that could fit in a small space but take a decent load. This machine has been reliable so far. It's reasonably quiet. You just need to ensure that you adjust the screw-out feet to remove any potential instability, which is easy to do.There are plenty of program selections to choose from. Most of them take quite a long time to complete, but we've found that we use the daily quick wash cycle 99% of the time and it does a perfectly good job in no more time than our previous top-loader used to take.Would I buy this machine again? Definitely! I think it provides good value for money, and it seems to be very reliable.

The washing comes out a little more moist than my old washer, which gives us the benefit of less creases, therefore less ironing. If a more drier load is needed, the extra spinn cycle does the job. The machine is very heavy, which makes me suspect that instead of plastic components this machine might have proper metal components inside. The 5 Year warranty is the absolute deal clincher. Purchased this washing machine 2 weeks ago. It has a horrible smell that wafts around the house. It makes the washing have a machinery / chemical type smell despite completing the drum clean cycle first as per instruction manual and washing the laundry twice and hanging out in the sun and wind. This is a real problem if you have allergies / chemical sensitivity. The wash cycles are overly long and darker colours come out covered in fluff particles. I won't be buying this brand for other appliances. Not recommended.

This one is okay, but the new features with bluetooth and app, etc., they're not really useful additions and they're so annoyingly intensive to set up that we're not using them. The self-clean function is strangely tucked away in the electronic menu and you have to hold down buttons to select it, then it just doesn't work at all - our previous Beko had a self-clean function on the main dial and that is preferrable. So no working self-clean function. This is where buying things online is annoying as to return this item, it would be a major hassle. The settings are easy to use but basically there is a quick wash at 25 minutes and everything else takes over two hours. So if you ever get sick of watching your grass to grow or your paint to dry you can always watch the washing to finish it's load. All 3 take about the same time.Yes it dose have a custom setting that you can program in yourself, but I'm too lazy to read the manual and too dumb to figure it out myself.My main gripe is that you manually have to set the spin cycle on the fastest speed otherwise the clothes come out very wet. But again the custom setting would probably fix that problem.Also it doesn't pick up the clothes off the floor, hang them out, fold them and put them away. If I had known that I would never of got divorced.
