I purchased this for my big 18 month old baby (13kg & 82cm tall approx) for travelling with & downsize from our big pram. He fits in the seat nicely but not much growing room in terms of the seat back length but lots of hood clearance for a bigger child to still fit in. The fold & unfold is amazing! It's small, light (still sturdy & high quality workmanship) & very stylish. It pushes much better & smoother than our big pram that has bigger wheels. Its also very light when pushing & has very good steering. The sun canopy provides good shade around my baby's head & eyes & it stays in place - very sturdy. For a buggy this small, the basket is a good size - you can fit a change bag underneath or a couple of light shopping bags etc. It also has storage on back of hood & ... MoreI purchased this for my big 18 month old baby (13kg & 82cm tall approx) for travelling with & downsize from our big pram. I find that the crotch strap is quite short & it's not adjustable so the 5 point harness sits quite low on bigger babies/toddlers & my little one was able to free his arms due to this. (this was easily sorted by an 'escape me not' safety stop strap that fits on the harness so little ones can't wriggle out the harness. I did buy the leg rest to make it more comfortable when resting & my baby loves it & it supports his legs well. Overall, I'm very happy with the yoyo & would definitely recommend. It is very nearly perfect - A 5cm taller seat back would be brilliant for growing room & a longer/adjustable crotch strap would make this 100% perfect & would increase longevity. I wish I bought this months ago. Its one of the best buggy's I've owned.

The only worry I have about this stroller is it getting stolen because people seem to lust after it wherever we go.FOR TRAVELERSWe bought this to take along on trips requiring air travel. And I'm so pleased with our purchase! It is small enough that it fits the size requirements for carry-on luggage while folded. I think most airlines will probably prohibit it though if they see a stroller coming on board so we bought the squarish optional storage bag that is available. That makes the stroller look like a piece of luggage. So we fold and store the Yoyo before we get to the gate. At the gate, all they see is a black bag. And we don't have to worry about checking the stroller and risking severe damage or loss. In the event we are asked to check it anyway, at least the bag gives a modest layer of protection to the stroller. If we ever go to Europe or big cities, this will be our stroller for maneuvering tight city spaces and, since I can wear it like a purse when folded, for climbing stairs. Once folded, it fits in one of my large ThirtyOne tote bags. But you don't need a bag to haul it since it has its own little built-in strap for slinging the stroller over one's shoulder.A GREAT RIDEThe stroller provides a smooth ride. The baby never has a bumpy ride. It is very easy to maneuver with one hand.LIGHTMy mom much prefers this to my primary, more robust stroller because it is so light and compact. So this has become her primary stroller for my daughter. My mother has an SUV so she doesn't even fold the stroller to lift it into her trunk. She does lower the handlebar though.FOLD/UNFOLDTo fold it, there is a little trick. Push a button, then pull on a lever. I had to try a few times before I got the hang of it. But it is very simple. My relatives who have arthritis in their hands don't struggle with it. And the unfolding can be done in one quick movement. It's kind of impressive and magical how it pops out into a ready position! Look for an online video of the impressive unfolding if you haven't already researched video reviews of the stroller.STORAGEThat's the only drawback. The underseat storage bin can only hold smaller items. Because of the compact design, there are some cross rails in the storage area which really take away from the potential storage. And clipping a heavy diaper bag to the handle bar can be problematic when you take the baby out, because the whole thing tips over if not counterweighted. If you travel light and don't have a heavy or large diaper bag, I don't think it is a problem. We manage just fine. Even though we have a heavy diaper bag, we just have to remember to remove the bag before the baby or one of us holds the handlebar while we take the baby out to make sure it doesn't tip. The stroller has never tipped with the baby in it. We have a VERY heavy diaper bag because I want to be prepared for everything.NEWBORN NEST IS THE BESTI really wanted the carrycot on my primary stroller but didn't think it would be worth it. I worried about the space required to store it once she outgrew the enormous bassinet attachment But the Babyzen Yoyo solved that problem because the newborn nest is so very compact! The stroller folded well with the newborn pack/nest. And I love that it came with a built-on zippered cozy blanket. I didn't worry about my baby being cold and she napped so comfortably while we travelled home for Christmas. I had a little portable bassinet with us wherever we went! We got many comments on how cozy she looked. The canopy also gave her a bit of privacy and seemed to shield her from the holiday mayhem at the airport. I liked the softness and warmth of the newborn nest so much that I went ahead and purchased the foot muff / stroller bag for the regular seat. And that served us well the following winter.COLORWe bought the AirFrance navy blue set. It is the only color pack which has a little design on the seat/newborn nest bed fabric. The canopy for both are still navy. It is a beautiful, elegant set. I enjoy the extra design element of this set but the solid colored packs are nice as well. You just can't go wrong.

We have had this stroller for 2.5 years now and this thing has logged so many miles. We bought the Uppa Vista for my daughter before she was born and while that is nice and roomy- it always got damaged when we took it on the plane. We even got the Uppa travel bag, but it didn’t help. We had a big trip to Japan coming up and needed something compact and durable. This stroller ended up being perfect and was exactly what we needed. This stroller fits in all the overhead compartments so no more worrying about it getting broken. It has been to many countries and worked very well in subways and trains because of its compact size. My daughter had no problem napping in it as it reclines nicely. My only grip is that is doesn’t have a good cup holder.Get it! You won’t regret it.

Bought for a holiday in Tenerife and was very handy as we had to scale 18 narrow steps to our apartment and any other pushchair would have been a nightmare. Went on the plane with it, no problems. However the recline strap broke after 3 days meaning our baby could not sit up. She was very poorly during the holiday and the only way we could get her comfy was to tie the recline strap in a double knot, but this led to her being tipped to one side. Even in the upright position the baby is still very laid back and the seat is shallow - we could sell our daughter was uncomfortable at times as all her weight was on the harness which would have cut into her leg if gone unnoticed. The wire around the hood constantly pops out and the storage underneath is difficult to ... MoreBought for a holiday in Tenerife and was very handy as we had to scale 18 narrow steps to our apartment and any other pushchair would have been a nightmare. I had the babyzen yoyo+ for about a week before returning it. It's a super cute stroller but it feels incredibly flimsy. I have a 2 year old and the harness was a complete joke against her. She got in the stroller and immediately took the straps off which left her perched at the end of a shallow seat for the entire ride. The seat doesn't sit all the way upright. This left my toddler, whenever she actually decided to sit back instead of at the edge of the seat, in an uncomfortable and awkward semi-reclined state. The frame itself was unstable. So whenever my little one was perched at the end of the seat, which was most of the time, if she so much as leaned to the side too quickly, the whole stroller would tip over in that direction. The fold, while compact, is a ... MoreI had the babyzen yoyo+ for about a week before returning it. Very hard to do when you're also handling your child in the city.I wanted to love this stroller! Living in the city has left me wanting something more packable in terms of a stroller than the full size uppababy that I currently have, unfortunately this isn't it.

I was in London recently and this stroller was everywhere! I asked one new mom to try it out and immediately looked for a distributor in the states. I got the Air France color pack and white frame and it is so classy looking.Generally I hate strollers because I’m tall (5’10’’)and I tend to accidentally kick them while I walk. I don’t have that problem with this one. I also love that it steers so easily with one hand, I can hold my coffee (there is no cup holder) or walk the dog at the same time.I am also very impressed with how it folds (the online videos make every stroller look easy but it’s not always accurate, I found this one actually easy). Plus it just tucks away in the front hall, or behind the drivers seat in the car, it’s amazing.By far my favorite ... MoreI was in London recently and this stroller was everywhere! Plus it just tucks away in the front hall, or behind the drivers seat in the car, it’s amazing.By far my favorite feature is that the handle and canopy can be folded down and out of the way with the child still in the stroller. This is such a plus when stopping in restaurants! It’s my experiance that restaurants hate strollers and they often ask you to park them out of the way, meaning you are stuck holding the baby in your lap at the table (with and infant anyway). Not so with the YO-Yo! The stroller itself is slim and with the canopy down it’s no higher then the table and I can pull it right in next to me between tables at a cafe without bothering the servers or the other customers! Also worth saying that for the price I did not think the infant bassinet was worth it so I didn’t bother. I felt that to yo-yo folds almost as flat as the Peg Pergo umbrella stroller which is approved for infants. Since my little one was born 10lbs and already has very good neck control, I thought just the regular yo-yo seat (laid back all the way) would be fine and it is. She is 10 weeks as I’m writing this and has been perfectly fine using it since six weeks when I first got it.Magic Bean staff was helpful and amazingly knowledgeable. They also assembled the stroller for me and had it waiting when I walked in with the baby. By far the best item I have bought for the baby so far. (2nd best is a set of Mason Bottles!)
My husband and I travel for a living so having a stroller that folds easily, is lightweight and is compact enough to fit in an overhead bin is a game changer for traveling! Having said that, I love it a lot more than my husband does. PROS:- super compact- built in carry strap- decent sized undercarriage basket for such a compact stroller- good recline. doesn't go flat, but it's enough for a kid to sleep comfortably- can be used from 6m+ and even from newborn if you get the newborn pack- can add a standing board for older kids- smooth ride, easy to push- has 2 pretty deep 'secret' pockets built in- one handed push- easy to fold- unfolds in a breezeCONS:- the assembly is a nightmare! the manual is very confusing and I am assuming because it's a French company, it was ... MoreMy husband and I travel for a living so having a stroller that folds easily, is lightweight and is compact enough to fit in an overhead bin is a game changer for traveling! Plus the pictures aren't very easy to understand either. For the price you pay for this item and considering how compact it folds fully assembled anyway, it really should come mostly if not fully assembled right out of the box.- when it's folded completely, it doesn't stay folded. I wish they had a clasp that would keep it closed so you don't accidentally unfold it- i'm 5'1" and I find the handlebar is at a very comfortable height. My husband is 6'1" and it's too low for him so he complains that it hurts his back after awhile- I hate the buckle to adjust the recline. it's cumbersome and not convenient.- yes you can remove the color pack and it's washable, but the assembly is such a pain I don't imagine I'll be doing that often if ever. - the seat is very, very shallow so I'm not sure how comfortable it really is for the baby. - It would be nice if the extra sun shield flap on the canopy could be folded up as it's not always necessary and it blocks my baby's line of vision- the foam on the handlebar tears easily. I'd recommend getting a cover for it ASAP.- the harness buckles can be sticky and difficult to unbuckle sometimes which gets frustrating, especially if you're in a hurry- the wire attaching the canopy to the stroller frame pops out sometimes which causes the canopy to collapse- the back of the color pack is attached to the frame by a long strip of thin velcro and because the back of the seat is soft and flimsy, as soon as my kid leans forward, the entire seat goes with him- i wish the back of the seat could go a little more upright- the priceOverall, I'm glad I bought it and I love it for travel and for the ease of moving it in and out of the house and vehicle. We also travel to other countries where cars are smaller there so it's nice to have a stroller that can easily fit even into a tiny Uber. My husband hates it and thinks it's cheaply made, but he also seems to hate pretty much all baby gear. Our other two strollers are the Uppababy Vista and G-Luxe. The quality of Uppababy products is so high that it's tough for other strollers to compete with that. If UB made a super compact stroller like the Yoyo, I'd be all over it!
This stroller is a thing of beauty! We've relied on our little workhorse to get us through airports and other travel adventures. AirFrance officially allows it on board. I think some airlines will probably prohibit it though if they see a stroller coming on board so we bought the squarish optional storage bag that is available. That makes the stroller look like a piece of luggage. So we fold and store the Yoyo before we get to the gate. At the gate, all ... MoreThis stroller is a thing of beauty! I think some airlines will probably prohibit it though if they see a stroller coming on board so we bought the squarish optional storage bag that is available. That makes the stroller look like a piece of luggage. So we fold and store the Yoyo before we get to the gate. We have a VERY heavy diaper bag because I want to be prepared for everything.COLORWe bought the AirFrance navy blue set. It is the only color pack which has a little design on the seat or newborn nest bed fabric. The canopy for both are still navy. It is a beautiful, elegant set. I enjoy the extra design element of this set but the solid colored packs are nice as well. You just can't go wrong.ASSEMBLYThe stroller came in components: The frame and separately the canopy, the canopy frame wires, the seat, and seat pad. The newborn nest came as the canopy, the flat bed, and a little pillow. It was pretty easy to put together but set aside some time to do it. And I sometimes take it apart to wash the textiles. After doing this twice, I no longer have to pull the manual out or watch a YouTube video to remember how all the loops, velcro, and wires connect. It feels very well constructed. It is solid.
The price seems outrageous, but after using for 1.5 years, it has been one of my best baby purchases. The reward points, when offered, helps offset the cost a bit!Excellent maneuverability and very smooth ride. Perhaps not for cobblestone streets, but everywhere else with decently paved roads or indoors, this is fabulous.Being able to bring it on board for flights (will fit under the airline seats, unless you're on a tiny regional plane) is great. Just a tip, check your airline policies -- some still have outdated policies about not being able to bring strollers on board, PERIOD. One flight attendant said I had to gate check it, but I put it in its bag and insisted that because it fit within the carryon measurements, that I should be permitted to bring it on ... MoreThe price seems outrageous, but after using for 1.5 years, it has been one of my best baby purchases. She did not care that much about enforcing the rules, but now I make sure to put it in the bag before I get to the gate anyways, just to avoid potential confrontation.I only wish the Air France pattern came out when I bought mine; I would have loved that pattern (not enough to buy another set, though!)
