I like the creamy texture and the fact that the bottle has a pump. It feels smooth and luxurious. I have to use 3 pumps into my shower scrunchy to make it lather up nicely. For me, that is a bit much.The fragrance is very pleasant. Overall, a really good product.

The best cleanser on the market. I feel clean and hydrated my skin was very damaged and dry from years of itching and scratching with severe eczema and lupus. I bought another bottle for backup and I intend on keeping backups forever! Please don’t ever change this formula. Thank you to the formulators !!!

I love the XeraCalm line (the Lipid Replenishing Balm is my ride or die!), so I was excited to try out this new shower cream. All in all, it works nicely. It's a gentle cleanser that lightly moisturizes which is something my dry skin very much needs. However, it has one big problem, hence the 4 stars. It's very strongly fragranced. I'm not sensitive to fragrances (irritation or smell wise) yet I definitely noticed how strong it was. It should be said that it's not a bad smell, kind of floral. Nevertheless, I think it's a strange formulation inclusion when it's marketed in the XeraCalm line. So if you are allergic or sensitive to fragrances, this product may not work for you.

I purchased this product as a replacement for TriXera cleanser. It’s a very good product. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t sting my eyes. I have a tube rather than a bottle so that’s taking a little adjustment as the cream has a very fluid consistency. It’s easy on my skin even though there’s some fragrance in there. Once I get fully transitioned from my former product, this one will likely move up to a 5.
I bought this to help with my very dry and itchy skin. It's gotten so bad that it's almost painful to shower. This didnt help at all andmy skin still felt horribly inflammed even after applying ezcema cream. The body wash is very thin.
Not sure why you added seed oils and xanthum gum. Avene should know betterBring back tolerance extreme cleansing cream. This product is not as good and the other has better ingredient.
I'm thankful for this body wash! I suffer from chronic eczema and psoriasis and each year my system gets a little bit more sensitive to the environment especially the season changes. I eat an anti-inflammatory diet and have a sacred nightly bathing ritual but still Spring rolled around and here I am itchy, rashy, and blotchy. I started incorporating this body wash in my bathing ritual and I could feel the difference as soon I lathered myself up with it, it took away the itch and is helping the rashes disappear. I'm patient with the process but this body wash has now become a staple! Thank you! Don't take it away please <3
This body wash is really wonderful as far as cleansing goes. Skin is soft, does not feel dried out as much as with regular washes. However, the fragrance is overwhelming, potent floral scent that stays in the air and on your skin long after shower. It also stays on washcloths even through laundry cycle. I’ve pulled a clean washcloth from the closet to wash my face and can still smell the body wash fragrance on it even though it’s been hot washed and dried. If you love the scent and love a fragrance that lingers indefinitely, this is probably a perfect product for you. It would be wonderful if Avène reduced the fragrance quite a bit to lightly scented, or even made an unscented version. The soap does not lather very much, if you are accustomed to a very foamy, ... I love the XeraCalm line and have every product they make. It’s easy to apply with my hands and wash my arms, legs and torso. It feels good on my skin. My only problem with the shower cream is the fragrance. I have decided not to repurchase because every shower it makes me sneeze and overloads my sinuses. If Avene decides to make it fragrance free I will try it again.
I have used Avene XeraCalm lipid cleanser for 4 years. Love it, however this new Shower Cream feels more like a nice shower gel and is easier to apply without losing any of it. It is providing the same softness, and absolutely does not break me out. I highly recommend it and will continue to use. Excellent improvement to an already quality product.
