I received Aveda Smooth Anti-Frizz Conditioner for my review. This silicone free conditioner boasts to moisturize, smooth and protect against humidity to ensure smoothness. I applied this product and was surprised to see that the natural texture of my hair was visibly smoother and helped to smooth the hair. I did not give five stars as I do not know how it holds up against humidity. Overall good product that I am willing to try longer term.

My hair is naturally curly (just starting to embrace) and I've been looking and testing various product to tame the frizz and dryness as the summer sun and humidity ain't kind to textured hair. Low and behold! I was offered a sample of the frizz-free product. In the short amount of time using, I've noticed my hair softer and curls slightly more defined. I've just about finished my sample, but I've noticed improvements and have received compliments. I know if I continue to use this product, the improvements will just be amazing! In other words ... a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Aveda for offering me the opportunity! My curl journey is only just begun.

I was really excited to try this sample as I've had success with Aveda hair products before! I waited until wash day, and after shampooing I layered in the Aveda Anti Frizz Shampoo. The scent was really nice! Normally I finger detangle my curls with my conditioner but the product seemed to sit on top of my hair and not actually penetrate. I used a bit more product but still wasn't able to fully detangle the way I would have liked. I applied my normal hair oil and leave in conditioner and let my hair air dry overnight. When I woke up and styled my hair It was actually pretty frizzy and my curls were not well defined like when I use other conditioners. Unfortunately this product didn't work for my curly hair but perhaps it's better for straight hair!

I received Aveda Smooth Anti-Frizz Conditioner for my review. This silicone free conditioner boasts to moisturize, smooth and protect against humidity to ensure smoothness. It feels nice and light without feeling heavy or weighing down my hair. It does give a nice condition for it being such a light formula, which is good because I do have some greasiness. That being said my absolute favorite part of this conditioner is the scent. It has a wonderful natural scent without it being heavily floral or artificially fragranced-feeling. I've always had extremely thick, coarse frizzy hair. I feel like an alpaca 99% of the time lol. I recently went camping with my family out to Michigan for a week and let me tell you, my hair did not look the part! For once. 😅It wasn't dry or in the least bit frizzy. My hair felt as if I had recently flat ironed it, of course there's nowhere to plug in a flat iron. The product works! I am amazed and relieved. It's now part of my routine and especially part of my camping must haves. Smooth infusion conditions like no other. Five stars.

I loved the original version and this new reformulation really didn't work for my hair. It made it really dry and tangled at the ends and also kind of heavy.In hopes of finding something that would give me similar results to the original Smooth Infusion I've since tried out both of the Nutriplenish conditioners. The lighter moisture version gave me very similar bad results to the new Smooth Infusion, but the richer moisture version works really well for me/similar results to the original Smooth Infusion! This is a horrible change in your product. I have been purchasing the smooth infusion conditioner for YEARS. It was PERFECT. That is why I spent a lot on it. This new formula is absolutely" not great". I am very disappointed. Now, after many years, I have to search for a new conditioner. It doesn't smell the same or work the same. It is not an improvement, it is a completely different product. What a shame!
This conditioner has a lovely aroma! It has a smell of mint, eucalyptus and citrus combined, it's smells absolutely refreshing. The consistency is very smooth and lightweight. I prefer thicker conditioners because my hair is very coily and tends to dry out easily (low porosity). I think this conditioner is best suited for fine and wavy hair types, or even if you have high porosity kinky/curly/coily hair, this may work for you. My hair did feel smooth afterwards, but no significant difference on frizz. However, I don't really struggle with frizzy hair. If you like smells similar to what I mentioned, you'll love it for that alone because it's very strong. If not, it'd be hard to mask it, so I'd avoid this. I do like it overall and will try this again on my extensions.
