Quality seems good and it does whistle well. However, there is an issue holding the whistle open and pouring hot water when the kettle is nearly empty. I find the angle awkward and have to use my thumb rather than index finger on the whistle trigger to change the angle on my wrist so it is comfortable.

Smooth and sleek, easy to fill. Handle is situated high enough to be out of the way of flames. ( I have a methylated spirits stove on my boat). Easy to clean.

Great quality stainless steel and good large size. However when pouring the steam burns hand unless pouring at angle and the lid comes off too easily. Can manage this by using 2 hands but some might struggle
The kettle is great.Love the stylish look on my induction cook top.Love the whistle.Love the Handle.
We had to replace our last whistler after a meltdown incident (I didn’t put the whistle down and it burned dry). I went with this one as the whistle is sprung and won’t let me make the same mistake again. Really happy with it thus far. I like the insulated handle and spring lever; it looks good and it’s easy to clean. Good secure seal on the lid. My only regret is there’s only the one colour (I wanted red — they go faster LOL).
I do really like the kettle, it looks good. The handle and the knob do get hot though. They cool down fast as well so it’s not a problem. Just not perfect.
I LOVE my new stove top kettle. I love it for not having any plastic within the kettle that will eventually leach chemicals into the water or become harden and cracked as it gets older or rust. I even bought one for my uncle!
The Avanti Varese Whistling Kettle has a small base so is compact but has a large capacity of 2.5 litres. Looks stylish on the cook top and boils fast for the perfect cup of tea. The handle is well insulated, balanced for filling and pouring with ease - no drips no spills.
I am very happy with this, lovely brushed steel and perfect size, love the fact that the whistle is not overbearing or too high pitched. Definitely recommend this kettle.
