I needed an abuse friendly headphone for mixing in live performances with large groups. I just used ATH-M20X on a 24 channel YAMAHA mixer over the weekend. The feed consisted of 17 - SM 58, 3 - SM 57, one computer keyboard, one senheiser cordless. There were, 14 vocals, 2 - harmoniums, tabla, khol and pakhawaj, prerecorded synthesiser preludes fed from computer. It performed well for the money I paid. Some problems are:1. I did not expect soundstage at this price, it was not there either. Take it off and hear with your ears.2. Bass is weak. While balancing for the bass side of the Pakhawaj, I had to take it off and hear it from the speakers. The bass got a little better when fed through SM-58 compared to SM-57.3. Mastering is out of the table with this one. If you want a more precise and responsive headphone over a larger frequency range, you will have to shell out for at least a 30X or up to 50X.

Great sound quality although I'm no audiophile, super light and comfortable. The ear cups are a standard universal fitment so you can swap them out for others that may be deeper or more comfortable. The battery life also lasts a surprisingly long time considering as I said how light they are. Bluetooth range is great as well. I use them as a tradesperson off and occasionally on the job, I take decent care of them but they have been squished and dropped several times and seem to hold up just fine.If they did eventually break I would without a doubt buy them again!

I love these headphones but there is one item which makes me give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating; if I could I would give it a 4 1/2 star rating. The problem that I have with it are the buttons to control the various features. These three button sit right next to each other and it is very difficult to distinguish them. The other issue is that the middle button is used to power on and power off (with a two second press) and a two second press is also used for some other function as well. Whoever designed this interface did not put enough thought into this design. So if you are considering these headphones just be aware of this issue.
