ATOTO S8 Ultra Gen2 7" 4G Cellular Android Auto Carplay QC 3.0

this is a good little unit, very easy to setup, and with a dash fascia mounting kit it completes the look, was a little difficult to position exactly in the dash as its never had a double din but that was the only issue i had, the profile of it is so tiny compared to all other brands, it's like having a smartphone in your dash but with more output, the custom os needs a little work to be expanded to be perfect but it already is pretty good, definitely better than the Android auto stuff which you can still use with this one anyway, has a nice display but is a bit hard to touch the exact edge but still possible, plenty of features to play around with, i definitely recommend this one above all others if you want a custom feel.

The S8 Ultra is boxed with a bit of features but it’s also packed with its problems. The most obvious is Atoto’s customer support, I ran into a few snags and the support team thanked me for the purchase but didn’t really offer support for their products. I needed steering wheel controls for a 2004 Saab 93 and the support team couldn’t help with pointing me to useful information. My head unit has a tendency to disable my touch screen at startup and again no real help for it. I have purchased the TMPS system to go with the head unit, the product doesn’t work. No tech support to help. I tried registering the products and the page doesn’t load. So, Atoto has a long road ahead of them. So far I am very pleased with my decision!Next step will be installation and my only real question is will the "floating" screen be practical and flexible enough to work within the classic confines of a 91 300SL.
