I love white and this keyboard has so many things I love too!The side touch bar is so nice to have, easy to use!Nice attention to details, it comes with a keyboard cover so the dust won't get there, so that the cat or whatever pet you have won't accidentally break it, start typing random stuff or make it dirty.I also really like the fact that the switches are Red ROG NX Mechanical Switches, it is so smooth and responsive! Also very quiet compered to my old keyboard, thanks to the Dampening Foam. And lastly it has this Dual Port Flexibility but for now I don't need it and will not use it, but if the time ever comes it is so nice not having to keep changing the cable from the back of 1 PC to another...

Price 5/5: Normally $249, discounted to $149.Quality 5/5: Genuinely surprised that this keyboard feels significantly better than my old $350ish keyboard.Functions 5/5: Although a smaller 65% form factor, it retains all of the keys that you would need for >95% of your daily application.Software 5/5: Easy to use, you don't need an account, and if you do decide to create an account you can just use your google account. This means that if a single switch or RGB light breaks, you will need to disassemble the whole this and de-solder and re-solder a new switch onto the PCB. This actually was the most significant consideration for me to possibly not purchase this product, but at the $149 price the argument isn't very valid; at full price it would be a more significant factor.Stabilisers 4/5: Most seem to be fine, however, the space bar has an annoying squeaking sound to it; it sounds like a baby mice is stuck under my space bar and is getting beaten every time I press it. It should be a simple matter of re-lubricating the stabs but when you consider the cost of purchasing the compound and the postage, it defeats the point of the discounted price (at full price this would be unacceptable because end-users should not need to fix factory errors).Over all, for the price of $149, it is an absolute steal. For full price of $249, still a good buy but you might also be better off with another option. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking at this keyboard at the current price to purchase it, you will not regret it.

Bought as a small, unobtrusive, but capable keyboard to run my living room PC for mostly media and occasional gaming. Got tired of the dropouts of my cheap bluetooth keyboard. I have been incredibly happy with the purchase so far. For basic keyboarding, it has been perfectly responsive and quick. No delays or dropped inputs even across the room or shoved into my lap blocked from the receiver. Keys themselves feel great from a switch perspective, no complaints. 65% was really the perfect layout for me for this application as i wanted to keep arrow keys to avoid rebinding my normal controls for VLC, but its still an incredibly small footprint without having to shrink the layout itself. It's extremely space optimized, no unnecessary bezels/borders. It's also a tank, impressively rugged, and battery life is more than plenty for my needs, i haven't even put a dent in it after a couple weeks. The little dust cover that sits over it protects it for days it isn't in use and cleans up the look of my entertainment center nicely, and it just sits in the cover while I use it. It's just a little thing that most people probably wouldn't use but in my scenario it's fantastic to have. The side programmable media control is WAY more responsive and accurate than i expected it to be. I've left it on volume control and it does its job fantastically. And of course USBC for charging means i need no extra cables beyond what i already had, once it finally gets low i'll just toss it on one of the cables in the entertainment center to charge over night. So yeah, TLDR good keyboard on its own merits, very small, well built, 65% layout, long battery, VERY robust wireless signal, genuinely useful/usable gimmick side touch pad, and understated aesthetics with the cover on that won't stick out too much. If you need all or most of this i don't think you'll find much better on the market. I'm personally of the opinion that 65% keyboards offer enough functionality over 60% for general use that they should be the more common keyboard type but that doesn't seem to be the case. And considering how well space optimized this board is it still manages to end up with a smaller footprint than a lot of 60% keyboards. I don't think anyone shopping in the market for a high tier wireless 65% would go wrong picking one of these up, even if you don't plan to use the extra gimmicky features, it's still just a really good keyboard on its own.
Everything functions as it should. I like everything except the protective/dust cover functionality--instead of locking-in to cover the keys, it just sits there wobbling around when nudged. I was hoping to just toss the keyboard on a bag with the cover "protecting" the keys. Why your designers missed that part is beyond me.Overall i like this thing. If you can add BLUETOOTH as a 3rd connectivity option then it should be an all-device input peripheral. Razer already does this, so it is feasible.
They keyboard itself is very nice and asus seem to be one of the only ones currently selling a 65% keyboard. However, it is completely let down by the abysmal piece of rubbish that is armoury crate, the asus software you have to install to fully configure it.I get one run out of it after a clean install before it refuses to open ever again.Thankfully you can do a lot from just the keyboard itself, changing profiles, recording macros, led brightness etc. You need the software once for a firmware update, set any custom lighting profiles and syncing to onboard memory etc then I recommend you just reinstall windows so you can be fully assured that there is no remnant of armoury crate left. The addition of the touch bar is nice for either zoom or volume control, and ... MoreThey keyboard itself is very nice and asus seem to be one of the only ones currently selling a 65% keyboard. I would recommend getting a TKL sized wrist rest for it though as I found it slightly uncomfortable for long periods of time without one.Battery life is good, you get at least 10 extra hours if you set LED brightness to 75% instead of 100% and you can barely tell the difference.Even with armoury crate, I would still recommend this keyboard.
Hello potentially buyers, I will keep this review short and simple, I promise. The ROG Falchion 65% W/ Blue switches is an amazingly designed piece of art. I love the feel, sound, and design of this keyboard I was stuck between numerous options, constantly watching review videos before pulling the trigger on this equipment over other popular brands. The switches sound amazing, once full charged the battery has almost immortal life before needing to be juiced! I have joined the ASUS Republic and I recommended this keyboard to any gamer, content creator, or casual PC user. It is worth the price tag!
This keyboard is amazing, it is so easy to type on and it sounds soooo good. The rgb is very high-quality and it plugs in with a detachable USB-C cable which is very useful. The only downside is the location of the volume control (on the left of the keyboard) as I will often accidentally change the volume when playing games because that's where my little finger rests. Luckily you can disable it though.
The keyboard is super high quality. The aluminum plate is very sturdy and the keyboard overall feels very well put together. Stock cherry mx red switches are exactly what you’d expect. Unfortunately it’s only offered with these switches and is not hot swappable. The wireless feature is something I thought I wouldn’t use but it in addition to the 65% form factor really help clean up your desk. The rgb is quite nice with multiple easy to use presets as well as full customization using the armoury crate software. I’d suggest trying to pickup pudding keycaps if you really want to see it glow as the stock keycaps don’t glow a ton. The battery life of 400+ hours is accurate and even with heavy use with full rgb will last at least a week. The side touchbar which sets this ... MoreThe keyboard is super high quality. While I’m still struggling to find a good use for it, I do enjoy it’s easy access. The area where this keyboard struggles the most are the stabilizers. The space bar and left shift rattle like crazy and the others aren’t much better. That being said some simple lubing should fix that right up. The only other bad thing I noticed about the keyboard was quite a bit of spring ping from the switches. The only way to solve this would be to disassemble and lube every switch which is quite a task but worth it considering the quality of the other components. Overall a very good keyboard that will last a long time.
I saw this keyboard on a tech review on YouTube and decided to give it a try since all of my computers are also ASUS models. There were a few things that got my attention. The full RGB even though the unit can be operated wirelessly was a main selling point. The unit I purchased has Red switches, which make for a very tactile feel with a satisfying sound. The RGB is bright, looks good, and is easy to change using Armory Crate software from ASUS. I like the slider on the side which shows the battery level as well as being able to be used for functions like volume. The overall look and feel of the keyboard is nice. Combined with the backlighting, they look phenomenal. The small things do add up as to make it an even better package as well. Things like the wireless USB dongle being held magnetically in a small slot in the back of the keyboard, the included braided USB C cable, and the keyboard cover that doubles as a tray to help diffuse the RGB while in use, all work together to make this keyboard outstanding. I'm currently using it wired, but appreciate that when I'm ready I can unplug it and kick back in my chair with my feet up and still keep playing using the same keyboard. I will definitely buy again when I need another keyboard.
