This was on sale for 90 dollars. The cheapest comparable AM4 board was 130. This was what pushed me onto to the intel path. Yes, you're limited on your ram speed, 2666 in my case. I bought some low latency 2666 ripjaws to go with it. I will note that enabling XMP disabled c-states 6 and 7. My friend bought this same board. He already had 3200 ram from a previous build. XMP wasn't an option in his bios.

I really liked this motherboard, and I would have kept it if some engineer oversight had been exercised in discreet component interference with expansion slots.
It is a very nice looking motherboard even with 2 m.2 slots i was very surprised when i got this the rgb is very nice and and has its own software the problem is the only way to get it to boot to windows is by installing it to a ssd or hdd with a usb.

The BOIS will run only once. After that, you will have constant black screens and you would have to reset the motherboard multiple times in order to repeat the same process and figure out a solution within the BIOS. Asrock, please fix this issue.

I've submitted now 2 tech support requests for this issue. I've re-seated my CPU and cleared CMOS and still won't post with any stick in the B slots. I can't use half my RAM and I have to use it in single channel mode. Completely unsatisfactory that I've heard nothing from this company after filing 2 tech support requests.
