The next on the list was Amazon renewed. I gave it a shot, and also saw that the specific seller of the 12 I received had pretty good ratings as well. I received the new device on the day it was expected and the phone is truly in excellent condition. No dents or deep scratches, no evidence of after market parts, battery health at exactly 85%, a scuff on the back of the phone only noticeable in the right lighting, and no visible scratches on the screen itself with a screen protector. I use this for a lot of content creation, and it’s on par for the smart phones that came out when this was released. For daily performance it does really well, had no problem with multiple applications, open specially heavier programs I was using videos and photos on the upload and downloads were pretty quick on it for changing content over from my phone to my computer vice versa. My biggest concern is at some point they’re going to stop supporting this phone like they did with previous generations of phones. But even in 2024 I think this phone does pretty well and is something that you should consider if you’re looking to find a good deal, especially if you can find one secondhand and great condition.

Recently purchased a refurbished Iphone 12 Pro Max through A-1 Wireless, a Walmart approved vendor. A-1 Wireless practices deceitful marketing to sell their products, and Walmart is promoting it when they are not enforcing their vendors to be accountable for the products they are selling. For myself when buying a refurbished product, battery life is the most important quality. A-1 did not disclose battery life information. After testing the product and finding out battery life is lower than anticipated, the responsibility and cost of returning the product is bear by the buyer. Like most people I was looking for a deal and was attracted to Walmart because it was cheaper than Amazon. A mistake I won't make again. After transferring data and getting the phone and apps signed into, everything up and running we started using it as we normally use our mobile phones. After taking pictures and videos we noticed the live pictures and videos were glitching, wavy and not the high quality pictures we were expecting.I filed a claim with the Walmart Protection Plan operated by Allstate, difficult is an understatement, it was almost impossible to get any assistance with the problem, we nearly gave up and returned the phone to our local Walmart store asking for a complete refund, including the Protection Plan, after nearly 2 hours on the phone speaking with an Allstate agent they finally offered to send a replacement phone for the $49. ... MoreWe received the phone and it looked great, like new. After following the phone’s prompts we now discover this phone had had a Non Apple Screen Replacement and may not work as expected and engineered.It hasn’t be 30 days since our purchase, to say we’re disappointed is an understatement, I may spend my Sunday with Walmart to attempt finding a solution.
