Overall, the iPhone 12 combines a captivating design, advanced performance, and reliable camera capabilities. Its integration into the Apple ecosystem and 5G capabilities make it a solid choice for users seeking a balance between style and functionality. However, potential buyers should consider the absence of a high-refresh-rate display and the need for additional accessories due to the excluded charger and EarPods.

I had an iPhone 11 pro Max before I upgraded to a regular iPhone 12. I did it because I was tired of not being able to fit my phone in my pocket, and because I found the battery on the iPhone 11 pro Max to be poor. The iPhone 12 has worked quite well until now, it’s a year old. Unfortunately the battery doesn’t last me through half a day anymore, and the memory is all but used up. I pay the equivalent of 10 dollars each month for a TB or extra storage, as my phone’s memory only has a little bit left (6GB). It’s also started to become a bit slower in processing, which leaves me a bit annoyed. I’ve used iPhone and Apple for years now, and I like the phones. But if you use your phone a lot and take a lot of pictures, then get a phone with bigger memory. I really enjoy ... MoreI had an iPhone 11 pro Max before I upgraded to a regular iPhone 12. I just Wish I had bigger space to store everything, The newer iOS is also really good, with the option to customize your home screen and screen protector with widgets. I like that! Overall I pull one star for the memory of this product. You get what you pay for, consider sizing up if you use your phone more than average.

BUY REFURBISHED ITS GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Super skeptical when it came to purchasing a refurbished phone. I wanted to save money (obviously who doesn’t) but I also wanted a good, reliable, up to date iphone. I searched on amazon, and a couple other apps that sold electronics and i settled on walmart because it was the cheapest. the walmart reassurance policy (that’s not the actual name of the policy but basically it was a walmart guarantee) put me at ease a little. i read some negative reviews about the cosmetic appearance but my experience was different. this phone came with zero flaws. it was perfect it still is perfect. i will never pay double the amount for a brand new phone ever again lol. Beauty & the beast

I still remember the days when people were making fun of Samsung and the likes for launching multiple phones in one go. So much to choose from and Apple was just limited to a couple devices and those few were class apart and had unique USP’s.Well, times have changed and I guess Apple has gone bonkers. They are crazily launching phone after phone with few tangible differences. I guess it’s not the way it was when Steve Jobs was leading.Anyways, this review is about iPhone 12 and boy oh boy it’s classy. I opted for Purple and it’s simply mind blowing. Mind you - No significant difference here between the 12 phones launched in the last few years alone (iPhone 11, 12, 13 and their sub versions).iOS 14 and 15 gave some massive updates but not the iPhones per se. ... MoreI still remember the days when people were making fun of Samsung and the likes for launching multiple phones in one go. Apple still has some unique creative juice left and knows how to deliver classy products albeit make crazy profits on each device. Back to iPhone 12 - It’s sleek & sexy with a minimalist design. The touch and feel of this iPhone is heavenly. The performance is another feather in the cap. Smooth as butter and the output is simply remarkable. I have used multiple Android phones for a decade and I can confidently say that the iPhone 12 peaks amongst them. iPhone 12 also happens to be 4 times stronger than its predecessor in terms of screen strength/resistance. It’s also water resistant upto 6 mts for about 30 minutes. The Audio/Sound quality is superb when used with Apple’a own products/AirPods. The video quality is simply stunning. It’s so vivid and lively and a treat to music and movie lovers.Battery though is a bummer. I guess iPhone 12 has some serious battery performance issues. A look at their community page says a lot about many users feeling the same about battery output. iPhone 12 is and will continue to be a solid iPhone at least till iPhone 14 is lunched (only if some tangible and unique features come with it)Apple sure has a funny way of showcasing their love towards nature. Someone from their strategy team got a light bulb moment aka enlightenment and suggested they stop including Adapters and the rest is history. Hope that strategy person has been handsomely rewarded with a slew of perks/promotions for his love towards nature by the Apple CSuite. For now, it’s the best iPhone money can buy at least for me and I pretty much like the minute asthetics Apple focuses on. Hope this momentum continues

Disappointing Misleading Purchase

I purchased a cell phone which from the description it stated that the phone was new. Lo and behold when received it was a Used phone. This the Vendor said was an error on Walmart's part as they handle the descriptions on the site. I decided to give it a try nevertheless as the Vendor said it goes through a 70 inspection and their phones are like new. I tried the phone for one week and it is overheating while using. It is not keeping charge so you have recharge about every three hours and the volume drops while speaking so it is difficult to hear the person on the other side of the line. The Vendor did offer to pay postage to return but I don't live in the US so returning it would be quite expensive. Or they offered a $25 credit. I was never interested in a Used ... MoreI purchased a cell phone which from the description it stated that the phone was new. Lo and behold when received it was a Used phone. The only positive in this is that at face value the phone does look new but is far from. This phone should not have passed inspection to be resold. Very disappointed is Walmart as well.

Great Phone as advertised.

I received the phone on the expected due date.Although it came in a generic package, the phone was in pristine condition (with battery at 87%) and it was shipped along with a sim tool ejector and a lightning cable (no adapter; although listed as included, the seller told me that it wasn't with my purchase). There were little whitish things around the camera lenses and some places around the screen (worry not, it can be cleaned).Speaking of screen, I don't know why, but it felt like the screen was plastiish instead of glassy, especially when touching the center (I could feel a hollow, I guess maybe due to the refurbishment?) But with a glass screen protector from Spigen or Whitedome, you'll forget about it.Although the phone was already reset, I performed an ... MoreI received the phone on the expected due date.Although it came in a generic package, the phone was in pristine condition (with battery at 87%) and it was shipped along with a sim tool ejector and a lightning cable (no adapter; although listed as included, the seller told me that it wasn't with my purchase). There were little whitish things around the camera lenses and some places around the screen (worry not, it can be cleaned).Speaking of screen, I don't know why, but it felt like the screen was plastiish instead of glassy, especially when touching the center (I could feel a hollow, I guess maybe due to the refurbishment?) Great product! But just be aware...

The phone arrived in pretty near-perfect condition. No noticeable scratches, extremely little wear... it practically looked brand new. Over the last few days it's been fully operational. The battery's capacity was at 87%, but that's fairly reasonable for a used product. My only gripe so far is that the charging cable that came with it felt non-legitimate, but eh, fair enough.However... be cautious as to which seller is offering the phone. I've seen the "sold and shipped" section change from Device Care to Lucells. My purchase was from Device Care, not anyone else. From looking at Device Care's overall reviews, it looks like they'll replace broken screens / batteries them with non-legitimate / non-certified parts. If that's a big deal to you, then you may want to ... MoreThe phone arrived in pretty near-perfect condition. No noticeable scratches, extremely little wear... it practically looked brand new. No that impressed

I got this phone just as the 12s were coming out, I’ve had Apple phones since smartphones came out iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 6+, and the 7+ my favorite was the 7+ every single phone I have ever had it’s always the battery that goes bad and I’ve noticed a pattern EVERY SINGLE time I get these phones paid for or close to paid for the battery starts draining fast. This 12 now has to be charged twice a day it’s 2 yrs old with light usage, still looks brand new! I do love the iPhones but I know they have the technology to make the batteries last longer. I feel like they are designed to start failing right as the phones are paid off. Not so sure the iPhone 12 is probably going to be my last iPhone, and one more thing why do I need to pay for storage when my phone supposedly has all the storage I’ll ever need, Verizon rep said! People read the fine print and if you have insurance on your iPhone then you should know if you have to use that insurance you’re NOT getting a new replacement it’s a refurbished iPhone. So I went 3 stars because I really think Apple can improve the battery life we pay over a thousand dollars for these phones at least let the customer get their moneys worth. Or try an android phone that’s my next move. I live in Little Rock Arkansas and NEVER had 5G service with Verizon so I’m not sure 5G service really exists!!! Good luck

Pretty Good Phone with some scars

I am pretty satisfied with my new phone. There are several pros and cons to this purchase. I know I read all the reviews before buying it myself and I think these reviews don't do the phone justice, so here is mine.Pros: The phone came exactly how I expected. It charges well, and there have been no problems so far. It runs just like any new iPhone would. The battery is at an 85% capacity which was expected. The screen is clear from any major cracks. The phone also came with a charger which is good (I will not be using it however because it is not a fast charger). Again, the iPhone works perfectly fine and there have been no complaints.Cons: Although it works very well, it did arrive 3 days late which I did not appreciate. The phone also has scratches and scuffs all over the sides. The back is free from scratches to the most part but the camera has scuffs on the outside of it. The scuffs on the side are very noticeable but are covered by the case. The phone did not come in an original apple packaging. It came in some off brand box that was not safely secured.Overall this phone was a great buy and I do recommend it if you are in desperate need of a new phone like me and can't afford a brand new one. The marks and stuff can be easily overlooked making this a good purchase.

iPhone 12 vs iPhone 6

The iPhone 12, released in September 2020 is by far the best phone product Apple has made so far and is one of the top competitors in the cell phone industry. I bought my iPhone 12 in January 2021 and have used it for 8 months now. My previous phone was an iPhone 6. I owned my iPhone 6 from November 2017 to January 2021, so I used it for about 3 and a half years. The iPhone 6 was released in September 2014. So, considering the huge gap between the releases of these phones, it was definitely a significant upgrade in almost every aspect. In terms of the physical aspects of the iPhone 12 the design, display, cameras, and durability have been greatly improved upon since the iPhone 6. So, considering the huge gap between the releases of these phones, it was definitely a significant upgrade in almost every aspect. In terms of the physical aspects of the iPhone 12 the design, display, cameras, and durability have been greatly improved upon since the iPhone 6. In terms of the digital aspects of the iPhone 12, the speed, Siri (your digital assistant), unlock features, and charging time have been greatly improved upon since the iPhone 6. I would say that one of the only downsides to the iPhone 12 is the great cost.iPhone 12 has a very sleek and smooth design, with ceramic shield fronts and glass backs on top of the aerospace-grade aluminum body, not to mention the array of colors it comes in: black, white, red, green, blue, and purple. The iPhone 6 had an aluminum body and was only available in gold, silver, and space gray. The size of the iPhone 12 is perfect to fit in my hand, with a Super Retina XDR display of 6.1 inches compared to the smaller iPhone 6 with a Retina HD display size of only 4.7 inches. The iPhone 12 has a Dual 12MP camera system – composed of a Wide and an Ultra Wide lens, compared to the iPhone 6’s Single 8MP Wide camera. However, a downside to these upgraded camera lenses is that they stick out a few millimeters from the back of the phone, so when the phone is dropped on its back, the cameras are usually the first thing to crack. I cracked my 0.5x lens within a month or two of owning my iPhone 12. The regular lens still works perfectly and the 0.5x lens just has a small blur when you use it to take photos, it’s not super noticeable but it is still sad that the cameras are so easy to crack, even with a protective case on. However, the rest of the phone is not very susceptible to fall damage because of the ceramic shield front. I have dropped my phone probably hundreds of times since January, even on tile floor and concrete, and have not cracked the screen or glass back at all. The iPhone 12 is also water resistant to a depth of 6 meters for up to 30 minutes. The iPhone 6 is not water resistant at all.Speed is a huge factor to consider when comparing these phones, as the iPhone 12 runs much quicker. My iPhone 6 would constantly freeze up and sometimes randomly close apps while I was using them. I have never had any issues with my iPhone 12 doing anything like this. It is very quick and never freezes. Another feature I found improved was Siri because, in order to use Siri on an iPhone 6, it had to be plugged in and you had to hold the home button. Now, I can just talk to Siri whenever and get a response. I would say that the most convenient feature is the Face ID unlock, considering I use it every day. It can recognize you in different lightings, even at nighttime, and can recognize you with and without glasses. The only downside is that when wearing a mask, you have to put in your passcode because it can’t recognize your face in a mask. However, I recently bought an Apple watch and there is a feature where your watch can unlock your phone for you if it recognizes that you are wearing a mask. The Face ID is much better and more convenient than the Touch ID on the iPhone 6 in my opinion. Both the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 6 have a built-in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery, however the charge times greatly differ. The iPhone 12 has a fast charge feature when using a 20 watt or higher adapter, it makes the phone charge up to 50% within 30 minutes. The iPhone 6 does not have any fast-charging features. The iPhone 12 comes with a USB-C to lightning cable, which is very inconvenient for most users because in order to use it, you must buy a special adapter separately to be able to use the charging cord, unless you already have a USB to lightning cord from a previous iPhone. Luckily, I still had plenty of cable cords and adapters from my iPhone 6, which work the same as the USB-C versions, without the hassle of having to purchase a separate adapter for it to work. The iPhone 12 can also be charged wirelessly or with Apple’s MagSafe accessories. The iPhone 6, however, has no wireless charging capabilities and can only be charged using a USB to lightning cable. The extreme downside to the greatness of the iPhone 12, however, is that it is very expensive, now starting at $699 on the Apple website. It was $799 at release in September 2020 but is now $100 cheaper because of the announcement of the iPhone 13’s upcoming release. The iPhone 6 was originally sold for $649 at release. But now that they are so outdated, Apple does not even sell them on their website anymore, but you can find them online for around $99-150 depending on the retailer.*I got all of my specification information directly from Apple's webpage.
