Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter

Happy with this purchase. Already had one for another charger and had no issues so purchased another. Good cost and reliable. Happy with product.

Have got a couple of these and they have been working well. Can't find any faults as yet. It doesn't seem to get hot when charging. It looks and feels like a good quality product but that is what we would expect from an Apple product.

Don’t waste your money on off brand products for your iPhone. I’ve bought several iPhones now and always bought this wall adapter for them. It’s Apple brand and reliable. What more can I say - invest in good quality products you will clearly be using daily. Apple iPhone works perfectly with the apple brand adapter. No brainer. Happy customers.

I love apple products but I do not like the price. You can get the budget ones but it won't charge as fast, also over the years I found that those budget chargers don't last long/charging rate drops. I have few other lower wattage apple chargers they lasted me 5+ years and still charges at the rate stated on the product. Hope this one last a long time too :)

I bought the iPhone 12 Pro Max recently and was actually shocked to find there was no power adapter included with the purchase of the new phone. A charging cord was included, but when I went to plug it in to my other Apple power adapter it was not a USB. I purchased the adapter from Pb tech online with a phone case, camera and screen protector and was very happy with how fast it charges. Would have been great to have gotten the adapter with my iPhone but very happy with how quickly my online order arrived from pb tech.

I have used tgis adapter for a month.It actually charges quite fast as compared to previous iphone charger adapters. The phone will have enough charges for a couple of hours of use in just 5 minutes which I thought was pretty cool

Great for charging

Great adaptor - charges devices very quickly. Shame it doesn't come as standard with the Apple phones now, but happy after purchasing as I can use it to charge my iPad as well which works quicker than the original USB adaptor I had.

Needed accessory

Works as expected. You definitely need to buy one when buying a new phone or watch as they don’t come with them anymore (and the newer phones and watches need the small usb not the standard one)

Specific plug for USB cable for Apple Watch

This plug fits the USB-C charge cable for Apple products, such as the magnetic Apple Watch charger. I had not realised this when I originally bought the spare A/Watch charger from Apple, which had the C slot. I didn’t have an appropriate plug to take the special shape. I was concerned that the one ai ordered from JB HiFi may not be the correct one, but this transaction was successful.

Waste of money.

I did a test between this 20 watt charger and a 5 watt charger that previously came with iPhones. My new iPhone 12 battery was at 50% charge before the test. To around 75% charged the 20 watt charger beats the 5 watt charger. Then to my surprise the 20 watt charger slows its charge dramatically to 100%. The 5 watt charger catches up (almost) and was at 94% charged after around 90 minutes compared to 100% charged for the 20 watt charger. Not worth the extra cost for a 6% difference. I presume Apple slows down the charger so not to overheat the battery.
