Pretty much as advertised, the stand lifts the Echo Show up so can be seen from bed without lifting your head. Have not needed charging port yet but it's there if I do so great.... A little bit pricey but might seem less so if I had needed the charging port.

By far the best idea for traveling and or around the house to minimize outlets to chrge the echo and your iPhone at the same time. I went to Missouri and rode the greyhound watching my echo show 8 comfortably and fast charged my phone on the way there! I love it!

I guess it should be a good indicator of something's value when you buy it for people as a Christmas gift and they give it back to you and say they have no use for it. Admittedly, I didn't put much thought into how the people I bought these for would utilize them, but I don't think it matters much because I have since discovered that there isn't much anyone could or would use these for realisitcally. Another thing I noticed is that there is a genuine concern about using Amazon devices amongst consumers - I also found that this concern isn't unwarranted. The instrusiveness into everything they can possibly intrude into is excessive to say the least and unnecessary in almost all cases. Excellent, I liked it, it has good quality resolution. It's very practical. I'll recommend it to my friends and family. It's comfortable and it's accessible to pay. It's not very expensive
The Echo works really well as expected and it’s cool falling asleep at night watching the carousel of family pictures. Great choice I will definitely give these to the kids for Christmas this year.
This works perfectly with the Echo 8. I love the USB-C Charging port in the back of this.. I think there is room back there for a second one that would be most appreciated. I'd also love to see them make this so it could go up and down as well as swivel. I know Amazon can do this.
Love the Amazon Echo Show 8 (3rd) generation. The alarm is a very gentle wake-up call. It is capable of doing so many things, we have not even touched the surface. This one we use in the bedroom. We have a smaller echo in the den. May have to replace the den one with the Echo 8.

Before purchasing the echo eight, I had an echo five that I used that was working very well. I simply wanted a larger screen. Therefore, someone would be in my house sitting on my couch before my echo eight showed them walking up to my door.
