This is a great mobile product by Amazon. The Echo Auto works almost exactly like your home Echo. It is easy to use and easy to connect. It can be connected by Bluetooth or by an auxiliary cable. It is hands free and has a slim design. It has 5-mic built in so Alexa can hear you over music, A/C or road noise. Also, it includes a fast charger for your phone. You can listen to your favorite music and call and text with your voice. Alexa can also help you with Amazon roadside assistance. You can control your smart home from your car. It is a great product and would also make a great gift. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Thanks.

But this really is a very minor issue and is more of a problem for the phone than it is for the Echo Auto.

Echo Auto is a device that brings Alexa to your car. It’s a neat and functional way of adding Alexa to your car and expanding the voice assistant’s reach. The Echo Auto is one of the most used gadgets in daily routine because it’s very portable, receptive, and multifunctional. It can give directions, let you make and receive calls without an annoying earpiece and play anything your phone can play on a wireless connection. After two years out in the wild, the Echo Auto has definitely improved from its dismal debut. It boasts excellent microphones, Alexa responds quickly, and it can do 95% of what you need it to do.
I love my Amazon Echo for the car. We have an older model car too so this Amazon Echo allows us to have some modern conveniences and features of newer cars. Once set up, Echo automatically connects every time to my phone and I’m able to play music, talk to Alexa, make calls, etc. Echo makes being in my car much more enjoyable with the convenience of the Amazon Echo and all its capabilities. Great price point for an easy upgrade to my car. Comes with a car mount as well and it’s compact in nature so it doesn’t take much space in the car. Definitely a family favorite gadget for the car!
Honestly I think I had higher expectations for this than what I maybe should have had. The product itself isn't bad; just unnecessary. The functions that it will perform are all things that your built-in phone assistant will already do so there really isn't a point in having THIS just for the car. I think that Alexa is great in the home, especially if you have multiple things connected to it but in the car it really doesn't make sense and instead it seems like an added step that isn't needed. Besides that, it didn't always connect seamlessly and consistently which was, of course, frustrating. It sounds like a great product but after trying it I feel like it's very skippable.
The set up for this was really difficult. You had to download an app, and then do some other steps in order to get it working. However, once I got it working it worked really well. I love that now I can call through the device, instead of using my phone. Now I don't have to pull over to make phone calls anymore. This has saved me a lot of time. I haven't used the Smart device feature yet because my house isn't set up for it, but I love the idea that I can control my smart devices at home using it while I am on the road if I every get some. I would recommend this Echo Auto.
We were deceived by the store display. Bummer.We are very disappointed with this product. The store display and video says it is easy to connect and install. That is untrue and deceptiveBest buy and Amazon fail to mention that this product will not work on older cars. Our cars are 15, 20 and 25 years old. We don't have any way to connect this to our current car radios. Our cars have no Bluetooth or plug in adapter that they mention in the instructions.If you dont have a newer automobile this product will not work.We will be returning these immediately.

It’s small and doesn’t take up much of any space. I was so surprised how easy it was to install and get it working. It connects to your car's audio system via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable. It allows you to be hands free by asking Alexa to play music, make phone calls, get directions, and more.
