Alpinestars Sektor Vented Shoes - Black/Grey/Red - 6.5

I effing LOVE these shoes. Normally my favorite colors are black and red, but I went with the black and white on these because you can wear them with any clothes when off the bike.COMFORT:Very comfortable just like a sneaker. Probably wouldn’t walk a bunch of miles in them but they are probably comparable to a nice pair of dress shoes in terms of comfort. They have yet to bother my feet while walking around casually. The sole is thin, but the insoles provide really nice cushioning. The materials on the inside of the tongue and sock liner are really soft and never make your shins or ankles sore. And even when sitting still, your feet aren't sweating. Don't buy this vented version if you need waterproof shoes.LOOKS:One of my favorite features is the styling. I really prefer not to look too much like "hey, I ride" when my bike is parked. So these are the perfect compromise between style and protection. I wear them around the office at work and around family events and no one can tell I'm wearing riding shoes unless I say "hey, check out my riding shoes." The black and white color goes well with anything you might wear.SIZING:In sneakers, I wear mostly Air Jordans and mostly wear an 8.5 (US) in most Jordans and most Nikes. There are certain models of Jordans and other Nikes that I have to get in a 9. So I went with a 9.5 in these Sektor shoes and they fit perfect. I also have the Bates Marauder which I also have in a 9.5 and they too fit perfect. So hopefully that information helps someone that is conflicted on which size to get. I don't think you can go wrong with going a whole size up on these if you're like me and are in between shoe sizes.MISC:Anthony kinda complained about the exposed laces in the review video, but I just tuck them behind the strap after I tie them and they remain perfectly out of the way of the bike controls.Only thing I wish is that there was a bit more reflective material somewhere else on the shoes for a bit of extra piece of mind. The little reflective strip on the heel is mostly always covered by your pants.

This is a Awesome Shoes. at First it was Stiff and my feet was killing me! But now broken in.Awesome. Almost like Skin tight shoes I'm A 9 1/2. Gotten a 10. It was still tight and stiff but crushing my toes, little stiff wiggle room.1. I don't get sweaty2. walking at work. Office job. Sweet. Outdoor work. nope i learn my lesson. almost slip.3. looks? My mom though it was a nice "pretty" dress shoe4. RidingWhen on my Iron 883. It the right choose for me cause the fact it feel Im Riding with my feet and not a big boot/shoe. I have mid controls. I could set my feet any where on pegs, easy to move and shift or brake.I don't feel anything when i shift gears. Awesome

As a new Indian Scout Sixty Bobber owner in AZ during our summer months I was hoping to find a pair of vented Alpinestars that would be ideal for triple digit ridding. And these ARE just what I had expected! I love them! Another review stated you could feel the air running through your shoes while ridding and I thought it was a little exaggerated - guess what - it’s 100% not you can actually feel the wind circulating through the shoes as you ride and it’s absolutely incredible. Sizing comments also true as these shoes run about 1/2 size small. I like my shoes snug so didn’t want to go full size up - I’m normally a 9 in all my shoes, ordered a 9 1/2 and fits perfectly.
