Alpha-H Vitamin C with Grape Seed 25ml

One of the worst vitamin b aka niacinamide serums I have ever tried. I adore the retinol serum from this brand so I couldnt resist trying out their vitamin b as I have some amazing niacin serums in my collection and just love the ingredient for brightening, balancing, and keeping blemish prone skin clear. The fact that Alpha H's version had peptides on top of all else made me think this serum would be amazing/easy win. I use serums for all my actives from exfoliation, clarity, anti aging and per having oily blemish prone skin dont need the insane hydration from them dry skin types are obsessed with. Only need great ingredients that work and dont leave me stripped, just balanced and instantly absorb. So I do prefer more watery liquid formulas however dont mind hydration or slightly moisturizing texture when they actually absorb and dont leave a film or tackiness behind just making my skin feel gross and unable to layer moisturizer or spf after. The issue many have with endless Vitamin C serums. You can imagine my surprise testing out this serum one time and it leaving a film and heaviness on my skin as if I had applied honey practically which I would have looked past but even washing it off after a few hours my entire forehead was erupted in breakouts. I dont have remotely sensitive skin so expected maybe a little oiliness/congestion per it being a heavier greasier feeling serum but instead got a reaction that took a week to clear like nothing I've ever had in all my testing out of new products. This serum definitely should not be marketed to all skin types as it beyond was not acne prone friendly for me as an understatement yet alone gave any benefits that every single niacin serum does and such a shame as I would have loved having such a powerhouse formula with niacinamide and copper peptides but se la vie! 👎

I like that it work for all skin type. I love the way this serum made my skin feels and it's very moisturizing. The scent does not better me and it's not greasy or oily. A Gentle and Moisturizing Vitamin C Serum

I have very senstive skin and prefer fragrance free products. This vitamin C serum is fragrance free and moisturizing, perfect for the fall/winter weather as my skin tends to get drier. I haven't been using it for too long so I can't speak tell how effective it is. But so far, I really enjoy using it.

First timer

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this serum but pleasantly surprised. After only a few weeks, the tone of my skin is improving and a large brown circle at the side of my face is not as dark as it was. I’m hoping that it keeps fading in the months to come. The serum soaks in really quickly and has not caused any problems. I will definitely buy more of this product.

I got a free sample of this product with previous order, I am skeptical of products that claim to help with dark spots or discoloration… none seem to work, even got some topical cream from dermatology, did not work. So I figured I wasn’t wasting money trying a sample that also claimed would help with dark spots and discoloration.The sample was small, the result very slightly noticeable, the sample was not enough use more than a week, but needless to say, it did intrigue me enough to buy a full size bottle.This product definitely did work on lightening the dark spots and has improved discoloration, they have not disappeared but there is absolutely a difference! It actually works!

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and I can already notice the difference in my skin. I could see a difference in under a week. This is the best vit c serum for the best price I could find. The packaging is nice, the dropper is great it doesn’t spill everywhere so it’s easy to use a controlled amount unlike other products. The texture is weird - thick and sticky, but I gently rub it around face and then ‘pat’ it into place. Don’t let the stickiness put you off, it absorbs super quickly and once it does you can’t feel it. I actually think the thickness of the formula is what helps get controlled amounts out and you don’t end up wasting any. There are no products that compare for this price in my opinion

Lots of glow and no irritation

I love to apply a vitamin C serum in my morning routine but as my skin is very sensitive I try to stay away from ascorbic acid. As this is a stabilised from of vitamin C, it doesn't irritate my skin but still leaves a lovely glow. I like the texture for adding hydration and it doesn't feel too heavy on my oily skin. I will definitely repurchase this!

Love it

Switched to this after my previous favourite increased in price (c - firma). And honestly haven’t noticed a difference in my skin so seems to be doing the same thing. Is nice and light and non sticky or greasy. Absorbs easy and leaves my skin glowy and soft. Only downside is that it has a little dropper to apply so isn’t completely safe from the air but I’m keeping mine in the fridge and I’ll probably use it all before it oxidises anyway

Non-Irritating Vitamin C Serum

I originally selected this as a sample with another purchase and liked it so I ordered a full size bottle. I have extremely sensitive skin as well as occurrences of adult acne. I've tried numerous vitamin C serums in various percentage strengths and had reactions to all of them. This is the only one that has not irritated my skin. I like that it is absorbed quickly and doesn't leave a greasy film on my skin, which makes makeup application go on smoothly. I've only been using it for about a week and while it hasn't done much in fading brown spots, it has improved skin appearance.

Won't leak, great for travel

After using for several months, i am pleased with the results. The container is a little wider than most serums making it a little more stable on the counter. The dropper opening has a light seal that keeps the product from immediately spilling out should it tip over. No odor and sinks into the skin slowly. I wait about 4-5 minutes before adding my moisturizer. My new "go to" Vitamin C product!
