Love this cleanser.I use it in the shower, as cream is applied to damp skin.A gentle lotion, that massages beautifully into the skin. Can be used for eye make up removal. When rinsed off and skin is dried, leaves the skin feeling hydrated and 'balanced', not taught.Unfortunately I have not bought this supersize, as I would prefer a duo. Not sure how long 500ml would last and prefer to have a fresh bottle more often, but would definitely recommend.

I rate Alpha H products highly and use quite a few of their skin products. Always buy the plain Balancing Cleanser (not the Rose version) and it is used by all the family. Love the fact it can be used all over face including eyes without irritation. Easily removes eye make up. I have rosacea and this does not cause any flare ups but leaves skin comfortable, fresh and clean.Always have the large 500ml pump bottle in bathroom but this time could not find it at a reasonable price on any website so bought this duo from M&S on offer at a good price and used to top up the pump bottle. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.

I've been using this balancing cleanser for a few years now. I've tried other cleansers but I keep coming back to this one. I'm 50 yo and I have normal to dry skin, it gets dry in the colder months. This creamy cleanser just works. It makes my face feel clean without stripping the moisture from it. I use it AM and PM followed by Alpha H serums and moisturisers and i use it all year round. You won't be disappointed with this product. If I have been wearing make-up (I don't wear much when I do wear it) I will do a double cleanse to make sure I have got all of the make-up off.

I’ve loved alpha h liquid gold forever, I finished usual cleansers and fancied a change so decided to try this. I used two pumps at first but it’s way too much, one pump is plenty. The texture and way you use it reminds me of Liz Earle c&p but imo it’s even better at removing all make up and leaves skin so soft. It even removed my waterproof mascara without using a separate product. IMO no second cleanse required but I always use Elemis resurfacing wash day and night so I used that after too
I've been using the Balancing Cleanser for the past couple of years at night and on alternate mornings. The texture is wonderful and the product is non-drying. I typically use a make-up wipe at night and then wash with the cleanser. When I follow with Liquid Gold, I often notice there is still make-up on the cotton wipe. So on the evenings I'm not using Liquid Gold, I will wash twice with the Balancing Cleanser to make sure my face is squeaky clean.
I always use an oil cleanser as I have very dry But reading the reviews for this cleanser I thought I had to give it ago. It is so nice at claiming my skin down, as well as being super dry I have rosacea and I find that oil cleansers can aggravate it. This cleanser, however left my skin, looking really good hardly any redness which I loved. Unfortunately I didn’t help that much with my dryness though and I found my skin feeling tight after I had used it. It also struggled to remove my waterproof mascara, and if I’m being really pedantic, I think it could have a better lid. Something that you can grab and use quickly. I have been using Gatineau Melatogenine for years which is the only perfect cleanser I can find. Gatineau in their wisdom have decided to now sell it with another cleanser, which I don't like - I tried the Alpha H cleanser due to all of the impressive reviews. It made my skin feel very tight and uncomfortable, I'm really disappointed, so I'm sending it back. I would describe my skin as normal, but over the years I've had everything from spotty/greasy/sensitive. Until Gatineau restock their Melatogenine as a single item, I'm desperately seeking another cleanser.

I could never get over how it takes my eye makeup off so easily, I wear a lot of it and everything had always struggled. So everytime I’ve traveled, used something different, usually saved up little samples cause it was so much easier, I even do it now! Silly, very silly. But I have to say, I’m a lot more careful than ones I chose in the past. 🫣 I’ve had a dreadful time rubbing my face raw, using eye makeup remover that stings my eyes for hours. So now I’m in my 40’s and I’m solidly set in this if what I need for my slightly sensitive skin, I just get the nice big bottle , use a pump and a half with the first wash and one pump withe the other. I don’t feel squeaky clean, I feel soft and it feels ready for the other few things I use. 😊🌷Try it in one of the smaller bottle and apart for a young girl or acne issues, I’d have a hard time seeing anyone not loving how it works for you.
Alpha-H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera 185ml is for me a skin saviour and one I use as part of my double cleansing system at night and as a daily cleanser in the morning. I love the fresh clean fragrance and add the fact a little goes a long way therefore particularly substantial value. I have been using this product now for a few months and have been incredibly pleased with how well it works and the fact it has cleared my skin from menopausal acne, for which I am eternally grateful. A quality product which I highly recommend as a first-class purchase which delivers high-standard cleansing results.
