Alessi Anna G. Corkscrew - Pink

These are collectible and fun, a modern classic and well constructed. Thanks to the good shipping and very considerate communication. As described in some other reviews, it’s a little slower and trickier to remove spent corks after pulling out…or it would be 5 stars.

Almost Ornamental!

I bought this for a gift but I really want to keep it! It's enormous and looks superb stood on the worktop. Quality is excellent. I'm SO tempted to keep it.

Always So Stylish with Alessi!

This corkscrew stands very well in our drinks cabinet and even when it comes out for use in the kitchen/dining area it is a product that is incredibly stylish. It unscrews the corks with great accuracy and there's no 'wobble' when it goes into the cork. So much better than a boring old corkscrew! An excellent gift and very much appreciated!

Classic But Flawed

I'm so disappointed. I've wanted the Anna G as a classic design piece for ages, but now that I've invested in her, I've found that her opaque skirt stops you from seeing how far you've got into the cork, and it's also hard to retrieve the cork from under her once it's out of the bottle. Worse still, the corkscrew has on several occasions simply ground the cork into tiny pieces. Super disappointing.

Did not live up to expectations

We have been in possession of this corkscrew for approximately four months and whilst it hasn't quite given up the ghost it is becoming increasingly difficult to use. Initially, it extracted corks from bottles reasonably well but despite carefully following the manufacturer's instructions to remove the cork from the screw this has always been a struggle. In recent weeks even the extraction of the cork from the bottle has become a challenge.Part of the problem appears to be the hard plastic seal at the neck of the corkscrew which quickly became worn and misshapen and has now finally left the aperture into which it fitted never to return. Fell apart on first use

Bought the blue Anna G corkscrew as a replacement for one I'd had for about 12 years. Felt poor quality by comparison, the arms are not metal but chrome plated which feels flimsy. Unfortunately the screw bit came away the first time I used it, ruining the corkscrew and the bottle of wine. Will be returning.

Made in China

Made in China, bloomingdale’s website says made in Italy. Kind of deceiving, doesn’t feel like the quality of made in Italy. Also color is bright red on the website, item is a burgundy brown red.

Very heavy but good quality.

My daughter was so happy with this bottle opener, the quality is good, will look nice out on table. She wanted a good one and im sure this will last.

Classic design, top quality, high functionality. This corkscrew from Alessi is also a beautiful figure at home.
