This superb thingy converts coffee into The Coffee :). It changed my life. I'm better man now and all thanks go to Alessi coffee maker. Till now I had several other coffee makers (cheap & expensive ones). But these one is the chosen one!
Perfect espresso from the beautifully shaped Ossidiana. Good and quick to clean.With 150 ml. exactly the right amount for a morning double espresso.
What can one really say about such a classic of kitchen culture? The quality is excellent and coffee tastes better than in any normal filter machine. Of course, it's not an espresso that comes out here (it would require something like the 9 bar, which of course this device doesn't have), but rather mocha. It's delicious, though.If there was one thing to criticize, it was my own lack of imagination, because I imagined the pot to be a little bigger than it is at the end of the day. You can't get more than 2, 3 espresso cups with the Alessi, but that's clearly stated in the description. Therefore no point deduction, even if the purchase was not 100% successful for me.
I ordered this coffee maker to replace my very well used conventional Alessi one I’d had for years. It works perfectly. Make sure you note the size when ordering though.
looks very good ( subjective), the cheapest of Alessi moka makers with superior screw in/out dismantling operation ( the latest and cheapest 'Moka' is just like the other brands, nothing special) but it seems there is a b stock and the percolation is very strong resulting in overflows and leaks ( comments based on both the 3T and 6T models). Inspect thoroughly before accepting/buying it for less than perfect sculpted surfaces ( 1 or 2 almost dented looking). It becomes a problem since only official Alessi outlets have it in stock for immediate inspection. and it seems they do not supply vendors with display models ( order only and long wait).
