This was the second product we ordered from Alaffia and we had high hopes it wouldn't disappoint like the lotion we had previously purchased. Unfortunately that was not the case. With a crowbar or hammer you have a slight chance of getting the pump to operate properly. Most people we've spoken to can't even get the pump to work. That said, spend time on the quality of the vessel that holds your sweet Alaffia and less on the cool rhetoric on the label. Second and last time buyer. Thanks for making this easy. There are so many products that match and exceed your quality of pump and accessibility. Namaste to the Equitable Future

It left my hair feeling like straw, which all natural shampoos do, but as soon as I conditioned with the matching conditioner it was awesome. Such a great value, great company, and it works well for my husband with super thin/fine hair, and me with super thick hair.
I started using this line of products about 6 months and have been 100% satisfied with them. The shampoo really cleans the days gunk off and the conditioner softens my course thick hair. The scent is an added bonus...my husband says it smells like spree candy. My favorite thing about this product is there is no harsh chemicals, dyes or that sort of stuff...I can actually pronounce all the I! The cost is very very great for the amount of product you get. I will continue to use this product for as long as they make it!
I'm a senior with very short, fine hair. I live in a desert area and have had to start wearing a scarf or hat because unless it's just cut, my hair won't lie down on my head and is very dry. I bought this shampoo because I love a coconut-lime smell, but there really isn't one with this product. What I got instead - and I'll take it any day - is shiny, healthy hair that does what I want it to (so I don't have to wear a hat all the time anymore). Both thumbs up from me on this shampoo!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago as the store was out of my regular shampoo. It says for "normal to dry hair." I find this product does not cut through styling products and makes my hair feel like straw. Thank goodness for my love-in conditioner that brings moisture back to hair. I do not recommend for normal to dry hair, also takes a lot of product to get a lather and cut though styling gel I use on my hair.
I really love it. I have a medium thickness, undamaged (not using any styling products (besides Alaffias Texturing Spray) or hot tools) wavy hair and it works great for me. Im trying to use as little chemicals in my skin and body care as I can and this shampoo fits my criteria perfectly. It has a short natural ingredient list without alcohol (yey), and it leaves my hair healthy and shiny looking. it adds a bit of volume as well, but nothing too crazy. Also, I put oils in my hair overnight before every wash, and it washes them out no bother. I get a lot of compliments o my hair as its very shiny after such treatment. Also I love that It comes in a huge bottle that will last me for many months, so I don't generate as much plastic waste.
I have always struggled with my hair. From now growing past my shoulder, to easily break off or looking like someone pass a razor through it. So spending money on products to help it stay and look healthy has been a thing for me. Thankfully I came across this line of products, and I must say I love the results. My hair looks and feels healthier; I don't need to wash it every other, day which alone it's a miracle! I was worried as the first time I used it did feel like my hair was hard and dry; however, once stylish it, my hair was just fine.
First of all, I have oily hair. I cannot go one day without washing it.
