Aesop Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste - 75ml

This exfoliant is my favourite! Because there are literal quartz pieces in the product you have to be quite gentle when you’re using it otherwise you can hurt your skin. However, the quartz is very fine and you can feel the exfoliant effect as you move the product around your skin. I love that the exfoliant agent in this product is natural (and a crystal) and therefore environmentally friendly. The product smells of rosemary and is quite earthy but is very pleasant. I wouldn’t use this mask more than once a week because it is quite effective! A little bit of this product goes a long way and usually a tube will last me a year. A great pamper product

Received a sample of this product and decided to use when treating myself to a pamper morning . A little product goes a long way and I loved it . The smell of rosemary my favourite herb gave me a lift straight away. The exfoliant was soft and easy to apply , really giving a good clean fresh feel to my face . I have never purchased Aesop products before or have much experience of them , but would certainly look to use this one again

Best exfoliator

Received a sample of the Aesop face exfoliator and was so impressed I bought the full size. Perfect consistency to bring your best layer of skin to the surface. It always makes me feel refreshed and putting serum and moisturiser on afterwards I feel the best of my products are sinking in. Smells lovely and fresh. It’s a bit of a splurge for a scrub but in my opinion worth every penny. I use it once or twice a week. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Clean, fresh face without stripping the skin

This product contains lactic acid and I have noticed that lactic acid is a very effective in deep- cleansing my pores. I have used Good Genes from Sunday Riley before that had a similar effect on my skin but I must say, I enjoyed this paste much more than the product from Sunday Riley.It was very pleasant to use this paste. It has a creamy texture with micro granules and after I washed my skin, it was clean, hydrated and fresh.Earlier I was very interested in KateSommerville Exfoliate cleanser but those are such harsh products for the skin. This Aesop paste is outraging all of those KateSommerville Exfoliant Products. Yes, I recommend.

Could smell nicer but it works

I was looking for a simple exfoliator and this does the trick. It does not have the beads that are plastic that was a selling point for me as I have found those to be rough and not very effective. I exfoliate for acne prevention and this seems to perform well.However, I really dislike the scent. It is sorta medicinal and unpleasant. I have still been using it so it is bearable but I will likely not purchase it again.

I got a sample of this exfoliating and gave it a go just for one use, sample size is pretty small. so, the scent is offputting for me but well, I used while in the shower so not big deal and definately it's worth the result: first impression was that the pate is very mily-silky, and it contains this granules (it says quartz and rose mary leaf). In the beggining, I felt that these granules would give a mild exfoliation since they don't seem to harsh on your skin, despite massaging for a long time. But when I took it off...well, that was impressive! My solid facial soap created a lot more foam-milk (I use Argentum Apothecary), I guess it combined very well and left my skin with such a beautiful glow and perfectly exfoliated. Also, the INCI has been reformulated and it's even bettter now, they removed methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone. Thank you Aesop! Next to me be removed Disodium EDTA? GENTLE EXFOLIATOR

Would highly recommend. This exfoliator is gentle and quite comforting which is ideal for my sensitive skin. It has a creamy texture and leaves my face feeling smooth and refreshed yet moisturised. Nice smell, not overpowering. Love the Aesop products.

Perfect

I would highly recommend this face scrub. It has super fine granules that feel amazing on my skin but the creamy texture feels super comforting too. I love the instant smoothness it gives and my skin never feels irritated or dry after. I use is 2-3 times per week for bright, smooth and healthy results

So soft and smooth

I have extremely sensitive skin. I also have dry flaky skin. Therefore I generally steer clear from harsh exfoliants. I tried 2 sample sachets of this and have since splurged on a full size. The only con to this is the price- but given the amount of money I've spent on other products which do not give the same results, I'd say it was worth it. This exfoliator leaves skin so soft and smooth, and it has significantly cleared up my skin. I've tried products from Origins, Chanel and other high end brands, nothing has worked to get rid of the flakiness of my skin. Again, I have sensitive skin, but the grains in this product are tiny and is gentle enough on sensitive skin. I have been after this product for quite some time and can see why it keeps selling out. As you would expect from this luxury brand, the product is amazing, I don’t think I’ve experienced an exfoliator like it. Feels expensive and most importantly does the job well. As always, it smells great too. Will be buying it again
