This dilemma can be extra tricky for those with combination skins - we don't want the T zones to be oily and makeup ruining, in the meanwhile, we definitely don't want dehydrated cheeks. Somehow this product takes care of both! it's amazing to use as night serum, or a base for makeup during the day. Also it is not that expensive if you consider the size of it.. I guess for a bottle like this, I could use it for over 6 months.

I got this as I was looking for a replacement from my usual cream. I had used it years ago and only stopped as I could not afford at the time. Now, Iβm happy to be using it again. Itβs perfect for this time of year Shiah is warm to transitional and it perfect for my combination skin.

So lightweight! And smells delicious, bought for my Gradma as sheβd recently emptied her last bottle and she swears by it. Have used a few times on my combination acne skin and havenβt had any issues.

I am on my second bottle of this very light serum. When I bought it for the first time I did not like that it seems to be oil serum, as I am not fan of oils, but once you apply it it absorbs quickly and does not leave any oily residue or feeling on the skin. This is a serum but sometimes, when my skin is a bit oilier or during heat waves in Summer I use it as a moisturizer together with another lightweight serum to add that bit of hydration without too much product on my face. It smells lovely (not like fragance) and feels even better. Does not offer miracles, just a soft, light bit of hydration that soothes the skin. I really like it and my flatmate has bought herself one as her skin gets too oily in Summer
I love aesop products so I tried this serum. First the good, it is fast absorbing and light weight so if you want a light serum to use under your moisturiser then this serum would do that. However, I use a serum because my skin is so dry from the cold weather plus post pregnant and breast feeding. It doesn't hydrate my skin as much as I want it to, it dries quickly and almost becomes sticky on my face. It also starts to pull so if I'm using this product I always use moisturiser plus a facial oil afterwards. It's not my favourite serum but it's an alright product to use daily if you have normal skin with no other concerns. I personally don't like the smell, it has like a licorice note to it which I'm not a huge fan of.

This serum dries very quickly and I end up adding more product. I think itβs hard to get even layer or you have to be very careful and quick with your hands. Very Aesop-like product, herbal smell and lovely glass bottle and design.
An absolute day and night serum without any oil base which acts very quickly. My clients love the calmness on skin and last all day which also stops oil/shine on the skin. Great for pores too. A bit pricey but a go to for my clients and worth it. This product goes a long way!
