Fantastic power, plenty of torque!Hammer drill good to go drilling into brick/ concrete anywhere from 5/16th to a 13mm…Soft touch when using the screw setting means I haven’t stripped a screw since I started using it. Heavy duty performance for a great price.

Chuck constantly comes loose when in use.One of the teeth in the chuck broke & wrecked the mandrill for my hole saws. It took 4 months to get a replacement chuck during which time all my auger bits, spade bits, drill bits, & extension bits have been getting ruined by the toothless chuck.Finally got the replacement part (which I’d had to pay up front for 4 months earlier!) only to discover that the existing chuck is absolutely stuck in place so therefore cannot be replaced.Not good, not happy

I am a DIY'r and thought i would splurge on this drill given I tend to keep my power tools for a long time. From the outset I will discolse that i am generally an AEG fan. I purchased this drill (brand new) 2 months ago, however the Model is stamped as being manufactured in 2020.In summary,PRO's - the drill is a beast!! Plenty or torque, speed (0 -2,000 RPM) and it feels solidly built. The 24 torque settings cover most most situation where you don't require full power. I like the fact that the chuck will accept a 1mm drill bit at the smallest setting for drilling the occasional small pilot holes (unlike my other AEG cordless). As the drill wasn't purchased through an authorised AEG dealer, AEG have advised me the unit is not covered under warranty.In short, I would have given the drill 4 - 5 stars, however given the limited use and due to the above quality issue for a drill that's less than a year old, I've given it a 3.

Nice powerful drill. However it does put the heavy in heavy duty. I bought this as a do all cordless which for diy use its fantastic.However if I was using for a large project where the high torque or hammer function want required, using a lighter tool I.e the subcompact would be better
Used this drill for 6 months nearly daily use, it was great, heaps of power. But the drill started to loosen as I was using it until it just seized up. Bunnings replaced it in 5 minutes. A month later, same thing. It's that little orange ring behind the chuck that's the problem. It's not even displayed in the manual (which are useless, use your words AEG). I don't why it's there.

I have lots of AEG tools which I highly rate. However this drill doesn't live up to the same standard. Just keeps cutting in and out when I faces resistance. My old low quality Ryobi 55nm drills seems to out perform this '140nm' drill. Maybe I got a dodgy one? Not happy with it at all
I purchased this item and the day I got it was nothing but trouble. The 6ah Fusion Battery would be ejected because of vibration and poor battery housing design. I spent 2 days chasing around on the phone and via emails with TTI only to be informed to return my complete 12 piece brushless purchase. I went back and swapped the drill and the 2 batteries that has been ejected from height. Without a need to use the tools for a couple of week, I returned back to the work site today with the new batteries and drill only to be faced with the same issue. Every hole drilled the battery will fall to the concrete below as the housing is of poor design. Awaiting contact from TTI with a solution that isn’t going to leave me off the tools waiting for a replacement.
I bought this drill with the brushless motor to compliment the other 3 brushed AEG drills we use. After 3 months the trigger failed which bunnings to their credit had 3 goes at getting repaired over 9 months before giving me a new drill. After another year latter the gear box selector slider failed on 2 of our drills including this one.As a trade person I can't afford to have unreliable gear out on site so sadly will have to change brands
no body would use this for drilling masonry, seriously, you would use an sds drill. So why don't they try to make a more compact and lighter tool out of this by not having the hammer function- they should try to make it more like the old panasonic cordless drill- yes this is more powerful, but it is lots heavier and bulkier making it less useful for fixout/cabinet making. The belt hook doesn't fit properly on to my hammer holder on my toolbelt- the panasonic one does. All in all it's a good drill, but has room for modifications in any update they do on this in the future. Ergonomics are paramount to professional trades people.
