Acqua Di Parma Oud Eau De Parfum

I was attending a drag brunch and one of the queens smelled absolutely wonderful. Couldn’t get enough of the fragrance everyone she went by. I messaged her on Instagram and found out this is what she was wearing. I Immediately ordered a bottle. Love the earthy undertones of sandalwood and Cedar wood with top notes of bergamot and orange. The combination is amazing, definitely my new favorite!

This is a very posh oud and I feel good in it, like a tailored suit. While it has great tenacity, my only complaint is that I want it to be stronger. Not that it is weak by any means. I like my oud bold, powerful and almost obnoxious. However, this is “oud” with an Italian twist so it was not intended to be. Acqua di Parma being true to their Italian roots, incorporated Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange, which makes room for a fresh opening. Amyris wood gives it something most oud fragrances do not have. Leather, sandalwood and cedarwood were predictable base notes. Be that as it may, it is a wonderful fusion. Smooth, polished and sophisticated. Acqua di Parma is one of my favorite brands under the Louis Vuitton umbrella.

This fragrance brings a smile to my face every time I wear it. You can smell the natural citrus on the top and it lasts until it becomes a skin scent. I wont go into the notes cause you can read them above but I will say I can pick up on most of them throughout a wear and they are blended perfectly. This is signature scent worthy. It's not the most complex but smells natural, fresh, and unique. The performance is goldilocks, 6-8 (into 9 hours and stays around if you spray clothing), moderate scent bubble and sillage, mass appealing and wouldn't offend anyone. Its 6oz big bottle worthy to me. Only thing I can say is Im 50/50 on wearing this as a work scent. But it depends on the type of work you do and what you prefer to wear to work. Otherwise everything is fair game with this one. 9.5/10.

Arabian Souks

I received two samples of this and thought it would be right up my street as I go for a more woody, masculine scent. Jazz Club by Maison Margiela as an example. However this didn't really work for me. It did take me back to my trips to Morocco and Saudi though. It is strong, you only need a spritz or two and it lasts really well which is really good. I am using it as a room freshener at the moment as it's just not to my scent. If you like the fragrance, deep musk and cedar really come through then you'll love it. I feel bad going three stars but it's just not my preference.

Great professional man's fragrance

I love almost everything by ADP, but for many of the house's scents longevity can be on the shorter side.Not so this number however. The Oud is a fantastic scent and dries down brilliantly in particular. One spray on the back of the neck and on each wrist and you're in business for the whole working day.Five stars!

Great smell that lasts and lasts

Firstly I must confess I have a consistent desire to buy aftershaveI had smelt this one having bought from the Aqua DI Parma range before.It smells masculine but also has a sweetness and lasts and lasts.Every time I wear it I receive compliments which is always nice .I do experiment with new smells but shall keep this in my must haves.

Old fragrance and awful customer support

This is an excellent fragrance; however, you should only buy it from department stores or directly from Aqua Di Parma. The scent sold on FragranceX is Aqua Di Parma; however, it is an extremely old batch and one which holds no scent. Fresh Oud from Aqua Di Parma lasts for DAYS. The fragrance purchased through FragranceX couldn't even last 1 hour.Dealing with FragranceX's customer service is a nightmare in and of itself. The reps are rude and condescending when you call into request a return label and refund as the product is not as advertised. I won't be purchasing from FragranceX as I would rather not support a company that really does not value its customers nor supplying fresh products.

Oud + Citrus = Brilliant

I like that Acqua di Parma has left rose out of the equation and decided to focus on citrus instead. Oud here is bright and mildly sweet, while the supporting wood notes are bone dry. I'm not sure whether to classify this as a leather fragrance, except that it does feel slightly gritty at times. That being said, this isn't a rebellious fragrance, there is nothing particularly extraverted about it either and I guess some people might be looking for something more bombastic at this price point. However, it is perfectly blended and feels very refined, super easy to wear, jovial, mysterious, cool, ruggedly masculine and supremely elegant. Longevity and Projection are optimum, if I lived my life in relaxed tailoring I'd be very happy to wear this every day. Rebrand to God Water

I promise you right now this will change your life. If you're a man of class, elegance and charisma then this is for you, or if you're a man, then look no futher. It's beautiful, every spray makes me feel like I've got the net worth of Elon Musk. I walk past my partner and she gives me the eyes to say 'I don't hate you anymore' - the notes are not overpowering and you can really smell the quality, Oud is my favourite of the bunch but do not stop there, the full range is superb.
