I bought two of these kits as I want to do models of my local airfbase RAF Marham 207 and 617 squadron Lightning iis. Initial impression is a well thought and engineered model. I have bought some Top-Notch masks to ease the airbrushing of the RAM light ghost grey panel lines. I will be using AK 11882 Have Glass Grey FS 36170 for the main grey and AK11888 Light Ghost Grey for the RAM panel lines. Looking forward to this build!

It looks a very detailed kit, looking forward to making it.
This kit was so perfectly designed down to each nut and bolt. Decals were flimsy and difficult to apply. Just finished working on it for the past month. The final thing was the assembly of the canopy in the open position. I ended up drilling with my pin vise and using florist wire to get it in place.
