10.9" iPad Air Wi-Fi, Education Store, 64GB - Space Gray - Apple - MM9C3ZP/A

iPad itself is great. The iPad is fast fluid and has great cameras. I think apple could of had a larger battery installed I would be lucky to get a full day of use. I also think the build quality is terrible. The iPad looks amazing however when using the iPad itself straight out of the case you can hear an almost creeking noise. As if the case hasn’t been fully glued properly. However afte doing some research this is a comment fault with these iPads. This can be easily solved by putting th riparian in a durable case which I’ve done and that’s stopped the creeking. Overall stoked with the iPad its great, great size and makes achieving items very easy. It’s also a great size to type on and also throw in your bag for travel. It’s obviously an apple product so you are always going to get a premium product. However as I mentioned better cameras possibly a flashlight to, better battery and battery build quality and we would be onto a winner. I also find the iPads not having a calculator very frustrating however you can always install a third party app. I would recommend trying the iPad out in store before purchasing to see wether it’s suited for your needs.

I haven’t owned an iPad for years. Although I have the phone, watch, tag, etc. I decided to get an iPad because it wasn’t practical to keep using my phone to watch stuff in bed, or read documents. My kids swear by them in terms of functionality and as an addition to their phones.I don’t do any fancy editing stuff. I don’t need a fully capable laptop. The picture is crisp and it’s fast. I didn’t need anything super fancy and expensive. But I did want something I could enjoy and would last for a good few years. This ticks all the boxes. I’ll be getting the pencil because I like the idea of drawing on the screen (notes). And I’d like a keyboard for typing up docs.It has the new USBc port, so no sharing chargers in the house! I worked overnight recently and the battery lasted really well, way past my iPhone capability. I’ve also set it up to get my messages so I don’t miss anything. The Touch ID is very good, not like the old finger ID on iPhones which was temperamental at best. I like how it takes information from my iPhone so it already knows passwords for things like the wifi - novel for the old school users! Does seem quite heavy for an ‘air’ not that I have any comparison, but I’ve bought a very protective case as I can see that glass smashing very easily.

The front FaceTime HD camera is suitable for video calls and selfies. 4. **Touch ID:** This model introduced Touch ID fingerprint recognition, which adds security and convenience for unlocking the device and making secure transactions. 5. **Software:** The iPad Air 2 supports several iOS versions, but newer updates might be limited as it becomes older. It's still capable of running a wide range of apps, though some resource-intensive tasks might be slower compared to more recent models. 6. **Storage Options:** It comes with different storage capacities, so you can choose the one that suits your needs. 7. **Battery Life:** The battery life on the iPad Air 2 is generally good, providing several hours of usage on a single charge. If you're looking for a tablet, you might want to explore newer iPad models that offer better performance, updated features, and longer software support.

I use a iPad at work, and also on my off time. 64 GB of storage is plenty for me, although truly hardcore users might want more than this. Props to them, but for most this is more than enough. Apps and games, at least the basic ones, really don’t take up too much space. The iPad is my favorite tablet, as it reminds me of my iPhone. Same interface and intuitive functions. The colors are vibrant. It’s unreal how the graphics measure up. Whether playing a game, or watching a video this is fantastic. Also I like the processor speed too. No buffering when connected to a excellent Wi-Fi, and the battery life is impeccable. It charges fast, and if you don’t use it, weeks of battery. Obviously with apps and games going, I’m finding 12 to 16 hours of use. Yes as the picture shows, I fully recommend the otter box or other protective device. With this there have been some drops, but not one crack or any signs of the OS going nuts. If you have kids, this is wonderful, as the cloud also can help. Monitoring their usage is a cinch. Definitely a family friendly tablet. The interface works well for typing also.

The Apple iPad Air 2 is a remarkable tablet that continues to impress with its sleek design and powerful performance. The device features a stunning 9.7-inch Retina display that delivers vibrant colors and sharp details, making it a joy to watch movies, browse the web, or play games. One of the standout features of the iPad Air 2 is its thin and lightweight build. It's incredibly portable, making it easy to carry around and use on the go. Despite its slim profile, it doesn't compromise on durability, providing a solid and premium feel. In terms of camera quality, the iPad Air 2 features an 8-megapixel iSight camera that captures detailed photos and records high-definition videos. Great for daily use

I bought this for my mother as her last tablet had carked it. As it was an Android tablet and she is already an iPhone user, an Apple iPad felt like a natural choice given that it was of the same overall infrastructure.I was extremely pleased and impressed with how responsive the touchscreen is as well as the quality of the display. My mother is not a power user but at the same time, I wanted to get a tablet that wouldn’t be as vulnerable to premature planned obsolescence and which would have guaranteed support from Apple for the long-term. The iPad Air offered all of that.I was also very impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff members in the store who ensured that I wasn’t waiting in the lurch for too long at all, despite the overall ... MoreI bought this for my mother as her last tablet had carked it. Great tablet functionality

A loyal user of Andriod tablets because they are much cheaper than the industry leader, Apple. Finally bit the bullet and forked out for an expensive iPad Air. From my first few days of use, it seems pretty refined though I am still learning the ropes of the ios environment and navigation system. It operates differently from the Andriod tablets I have used previously. What prompted my switch to Apple was because the supposedly "new, opened" expensive Samsung S7 tablet I bought via eBay was almost dead upon arrival [it was flawed and lasted 3 days before it went dead]. The iPad was just about $100 more expensive than the Samsung's tablet. This was also bought from eBay.

Oh So Pro… not. iPad Pro Killer

I’ve been tossing up between the iPad Air 5th Generation and the iPad Pro 11 inch 4th Gen for a while now.Yes there’s M1 vs M2 but unless you are conducting some serious processing intensive work on your tablet then M1 will suffice for majority of daily tasks. Besides that’s what my M1 Max MBP is for.Yes the screen on the pro has pro motion 120hz refresh vs 60hz on the Air but honestly after using my iPhone 13 Pro now for over a year I don’t even notice much difference vs the iPad Air. Maybe 500 nits is not up to current standards but very passable. I hardly exceed 50% brightness in any usage case.Yes the speakers are better on the Pro but who doesn’t use earphones when watching movies on their tablets anyway. For the $550 price difference at time of purchase ... MoreI’ve been tossing up between the iPad Air 5th Generation and the iPad Pro 11 inch 4th Gen for a while now.Yes there’s M1 vs M2 but unless you are conducting some serious processing intensive work on your tablet then M1 will suffice for majority of daily tasks. But I’m using this device for travel purposes conducting light email work for when lugging my 16 inch MBP is not practical. So far I’m very impressed with the overall experience.

Why did I buy this? content consumption / drawing?

Battery life is killer. last all day and much more. (I do wish it had optimise charging like with iPhone) Strikes a really good value that’s normally not offered between pro models and the base models. Having all the features that you would normally need. Not going over the top with cameras, display and speakers, saving paying the premium for that. Durable, light and I have free balled without the screen protector, and still not a scratch. M1 chip is overkill. Basically just a MacBook at this point, finally with a touchscreen. Don’t really know why I bought this. Guess it’s just a cool drawing tablet with a banger display.
